Nikon Coolpix S210

Outstanding imaging ability begins with 8.0 effective megapixels of sharp resolution. It gets even better with its digital image processing engine that faithfully reproduces fine details and subtle tones, delivers quick response, and maintains image quality and clarity when taking advantage of extended light sensitivity settings as high as ISO 2000. And completing the triad is the clarity and precision provided by a 3x Zoom-NIKKOR lens that covers a practical range from 38-114mm (35mm format equivalent) to ably capture everything from group shots to close-up portraits. Electronic VR image stabilization adds extra reassurance that the results will be sharper and clearer, especially in lower light or when shooting moving subjects.

As befits a fine photographic tool, the COOLPIX S210 is housed in a slim, quality-crafted aluminum body with gentle contours that fit comfortably in the hand. Functional beauty and classic camera appeal are the theme throughout, from the hairline treatment on the face to the clean design of the back with large control buttons and the user-friendly rotary multi selector carefully positioned to provide intuitive operation.

I love my Nikon Coolpix S210 but I’m new at the digital camera game and don’t quite understand all the jargon.

I want to delete multiple pictures from the camera but don’t know how.

Also, is there a way to automatically delete them after they are downloaded?

Thanks for anyone’s help.

I am also trying to figure out how to delete mulitple photos from the camera. On my computer it asks me if I want them deleted from my camera after they are downloaded to your PC. Maybe you can find this in your PC settings???

i have a coolpix s210 given to me by my sister from the states. I was using it occasionally when all of a sudden i cannot take pictures when the camera is set to auto flash. the shutter wont shot. however, if i set the camera to no flash, the shutter works and i noticed that when the camera is on, there is some noise. the camera is still new. What can i do. I hope it still can be remedied.

I’m also a new owner of the Nikon collpix s210, and am slowly learning how to use it.
To delete multiple pics, plug your camera into your pc (I’m assuming you have Win Xp) and right-click it’s icon in “My computer”. From the context menu, select properties, and click the “events” tab. locate actions, and click on “prompt for wich program to run”. Apply, Ok, exit. Unplug your camera and plug it in again, and select “Microsoft picture and scanner program” from the window that appears. From there, if you know how to read, you should get it done ;)
