Nikon Coolpix A Reviews

Techradar reviews the Nikon Coolpix A and writes;
“With a large DX format sensor, and the excellent image processor, image quality should be very high, and certainly streaks ahead of that offered by other compacts in the Coolpix range.”
rating: N/A

Photographyblog reviews the Nikon Coolpix A and writes;
“There’s virtually no noise from the base sensitivity of ISO 100 all the way up to 3200, with the higher settings of 6400, 12,800 and even to a lesser extent 25,600 all perfectly usable for smaller prints – very impressive for any 1.5x sensor, never mind one housed in a compact camera. The sharp 28mm lens and the lack of an optical low-pass filter both help to offer stellar image quality. Exposure, colour and white balance were all uniformly reliable, with the option of the RAW format if you want to take control.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

Ephotozine reviews the Nikon Coolpix A and writes;
“The Coolpix A is an enticing option and capable of producing very sharp images,… For those that value image quality and compact size above price, the Nikon Coolpix A offers some of the best image quality available in a pocketable body,”
Rating: ★★★★☆

Pocket-lint reviews the Nikon Coolpix A and writes;
“The Nikon Coolpix A is almost there. It’s taken us on a full-circle roller-coaster ride: from love at first sight, to loathing the slow and so-so autofocus system, then back to love again when looking at those super-sharp, detailed images. Seriously, they’re better-than-DSLR-quality in many situations thanks to that sharp 28mm f/2.8 equivalent lens.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

Whatdigitalcamera reviews the Nikon Coolpix A and writes;
“Detail is exceptional for a camera of its size and users can be confident of producing first class results up to ISO 3200, without noise interfering with the overall quality.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

Cameralabs reviews the Nikon Coolpix A and writes;
“When taking pictures in low light or capturing fast-moving subjects, a high ISO (100-6400, extendable to 25600) light sensitivity ensures superbly detailed images with minimal noise.”
rating: N/A
