		<description>I do not own this lens (I have the previous version), but have just seen images using the 24-120mm f/4G ED VR AF-S NIKKOR taken on a D700. I&#039;m afraid the green/magenta fringing on both sides of the images was absolutely terrible. Worse than that using the previous lens on my D200, which has always been something of a problem in this area. 

For me this range of zoom is perfect and I got quite excited about this new f4 one. But it looks a real dog. As I&#039;m looking to upgrade to a D700, I can&#039;t imagine buying this lens</description>
