Hi..I have just brought the Sony Alpha 300 DSLR and it is my first SLR camera. I live in Nottingham, England and I paid £399.99 for the camera and a 18-70mm standard lens. I also brought a Tamron 55-200mm lens for 74.99. So far I have not been disappointed with the camera. I am not a professional photographer so maybe I am easy to please. I have found that both lens produce very good photo's to say they are not expensive. The A 300 live view is excellent but I prefer to shoot with the view finder. When I checked on the A350 the only solid difference I could find was the 14.2mp as apposed to my 10.2mp plus the extra 100 pounds. My only problem is that I don't know if older lens will work with this model and also what to look out for. I hope this has been some help to you.

Thanks thelevone.
