Manfrotto Launches the Modo Tripod Range

The Modo range of tripods offers the versatility of a photo and video tripod in one easy to use lightweight model, making it ideal for photographers using a compact camera or video camera to switch between filming and shooting still pictures. The range consists of 2 tripods - the Modo Maxi and Modo Mini, plus a Modo Monopod.

Offering features to help achieve professional quality results, the Modo tripod has a joystick operated ball head which combines both photo and video specific operation in one hybrid head. The Modo head has been designed to easily switch between the two modes at the turn of a dial to allow the camera to be handled smoothly and with ease, while the quick release plate means the camera can be attached to, or removed from the tripod quickly and easily.

The tripod is fitted with quick action lever leg locks, has angle adjustable oval section legs and a splittable centre column so the height of the tripod can be set at a specific angle for low level work. And thanks to the rubber feet, the tripod provides a steady structure to help you produce sharp results.

Manfrotto has also designed a bag to transport the Modo range. The Modo Bag has numerous compartments to store your camera accessories, batteries, videotapes – even your wallet, passport and mobile phone, alongside your tripod.
