Perfect size for tavel
“I am using a Manfrotto 468MGRC3 ball head with a Canon 5D MII and 70-200mm f/2.8L IS attached to the lens mounting ring. This monopod combined with the IS lens feature is a nice combination. Very light and small when closed, excellent for traveling. You still are not allowed to carry it in the overhead compartment on a plane, however. Plenty sturdy to use with a heavy lens and body. Plenty tall when fully extended. I’m 6’2″ and was still comfortable when shooting from the stands while resting it on the bleacher below.” – By Fanooch
“The Manfrotto 695CX Monopod is excellent. It’s lightweight, compact, yet also extends long enough for my height. Very easy to carry and quick to release and extend its legs. Very compact and user-friendly. Worth the value. “ – By Happy Customer
Perfect for me
“I love the monopod. After just returning from a business trip to Holland followed by a vacation in Costa Rica, I’ve become very comfortable using it and getting great stability. I borrowed the Manfrotto joystick head (model 222 replaced the 3265 which I own) from my tripod and have now ordered a second one so I don’t have to swap. Combined with that head I find focusing, framing and stability are easy. It is also lightweight and fast to extend/retract. This product is highly recommended.” – By Stephen Kalman

Manfrotto 695CX Features & Specifications
The Manfrotto 695CX Carbon Fiber 5-Section Monopod is a compact and lightweight 5 leg section monopod that combines the strength of magnesium and carbon fiber. The monopod is crafted from carbon fiber using an exclusive, patented process. Under intense pressure, extra long carbon fibers are combined with resin to produce a stronger tube that absorbs more vibration – and with a wall thickness of only 1.2mm.
Manfrotto engineers have also replaced all aluminum components with magnesium. The switch represents a lateral move in sturdiness, yet a substantial gain in strength and overall reduction of weight. The average weight reduction of magnesium compared to aluminum is about 35%.
* Redesigned more ergonomic flip locks
