Great Bag
“Was able to easily fit my Canon Rebel XT w/ 18-55 attached, additional zoom lens, a point-and-shoot, Canon Vixia HF100 camcorder with Canon wide angle lens attached, and a host of cables, filters and extra batteries and cards. Also was able to pack a rain coat, binocs, and a few other small items in the top compartment. I also added a LowePro card case to the accessory holder on the shoulder strap. This pack is very well built and while not rated as waterproof, in and out of pretty heavy rain, all of my contents remained dry.” – By Bic

Awesome camera SLR bag – roomy, useful features, fit lots of lens
“A great camera bag. The bottom half is for your camera(s) and gears/lenses, the top half is for your other items (clothes, jacket, binocular, food, etc.). Side pocket for any kind of water bottle. Love the mini pocket with flap for storage of memory card(s) for photographer on the go. Also a front pocket for cell phone or pocket knife… Very comfortable to wear for hours of hiking / outdoor purposes. Great padding. Seems to be waterproof. It doesn’t look like a camera bag, which is great to deter theft. “ – By Art P

Very Handy
“This bag filled the need I had for a convenient way to carry my camera and all of its accessories. It is brand new, but appears to be well made and durable. Personally I would have liked it if the upper compartment was maybe a little smaller, with more space and compartments in the lower section, it would also be nice if it had a couple of straps to secure the tripod somewhere. “ – By Marvin M.

Great camera pack
“We bought the Lowepro Fastpack 200 for Christmas so that we would have a home for our Canon Rebel XTi. This has been one of the best investments we have ever made. The pack is very well made and stores the camera and its accessories very well. Damn good job. “ – By Thunderchild

Perfect backpack
“This backpack is exactly what I wanted. I have had it a couple months now and take it everywhere with me. I love having my camera and a few extra supplies at my fingertips. I am left handed so I have to remember to swing the pack off my right side because the side access to camera unzips naturally for a right handed person. But this is a small inconvenience to deal with all the great advantages. The pack is not much bigger than a regular pack but just feels and looks bigger because it is stiff with all the padding. That is ok by me because I know my gear is protected.” – By Donna Underwood

excellent backpack
“This is a very good backpack for carrying around your camera gear. Very comfortable, holds a decent amount of gear, though I wish there was an easy way to carry a tripod. “ – By Pudding

great camera bag but not for small person
“I bought this camera bag for a trip to Yosemite and just for around town. It is excellent quality but for me it is just too big. I am a small person only 5’3″ with small frame and this bag is overwhelming for me. It is great for my husband. Lots of pockets and well thought out arrangement. I returned this for the fastpack 100 only because of the size. One thing I like better about the 200 is that it will hold a bigger size water bottle than the 100. I love the upper pocket to hold food or whatever you need on a dayhike.” – By CLP

Almost perfect. Almost
“Got back from Europe and the pack worked pretty well, although you can easily pack more gear in the pack then just the shoulder straps will allow you to carry comfortably for a full day of walking around. Definitely could of used a sternum and/or waist strap fully loaded, but generally I only had the body and one or at most two lenses which was fine. I found that the cover flap straps were just long enough to allow folding a light jacket and strapping it to the pack that way. Kinda dorky, but it worked great. The quick side access method for the camera worked really well. Italy is well known for pick pockets, so being able to hide my camera when not in use but still have relatively quick access to it was really nice. “ – By Aaron Turner

Busy Mom in need of 1 bag
“In order to simplify my life, I needed 1 bag to hold our Nikon 3100, work as a diaper bag, and hold my basics – wallet, keys, cell, lipstick. This has been the perfect bag. The camera is securely held at the bottom, with easy access with the side zip. All of mine and my daughter’s (21 months) necessities can be held in the top part. I am really glad I opted for the 200 bag… I also really like the side drink holder, which fits her sippy cup perfectly. The top inside also has organizers that work great to hold my cell, lipstick and a few other things. I use some smaller zippered bags the top part to help organize everything. Great bag!” – By Laura

Digitalcamerareview reviews the Lowepro Fastpack 200 and writes;
“The Fastpack 200 proves to be a good balance. There is little more that I could ask from this bag. I would like a little more cargo capacity, but in the camera department, the Fastpack is the best I have used yet. It has more than enough room and allows for access to the camera without taking the bag all the way off.”
