Lexmark P350 Reviews

CNET reviews the Lexmark P350 and writes;
“As far as quality goes, it’s in the middle of the pack. The recommended paper is neither glossy nor matte like traditional photo paper. It has a sort of flat look to it that reminds us of magazine prints or postcards — this is neither good nor bad, just different. Still, the images had a nice sharpness, and we liked the printer’s colour handling better than that of the Epson PictureMate Pal, though it suffered from some of the same graininess. Overall, the print quality should satisfy casual snapshot users.”

Trustedreviews reviews the Lexmark P350 and writes;
“Photo quality is good, though not as clear and stipple free as from the best Canon, Epson or HP can offer. You’re paying considerably more for photo printers from these rivals, though, and the quality here is good enough for holiday pictures or to capture a special event. Lexmark claims an archival life of 100 years under glass for its new evercolour 2 inks and this is the first printer to make use of them.”

Techradar reviews the Lexmark P350 and writes;
“Lexmark has gone back to basics, inventing a whole new ink technology called Evercolor 2. New features that spring from it on the P350 are promises of a 100-year shelf life for each photo and much more accurate colour. The 100-year claim is hard to gauge, but the prints do seem to have benefited from the research. They are brighter and better coloured than they ever were on its predecessor.”

PCWorld reviews the Lexmark P350 and writes;
“At first glance the prints showed vivid colors, good shadow detail, and smooth tonal changes. But on closer inspection we noticed narrow banding across all the prints, which was especially visible in the darkest areas. Our black-and-white print also exhibited a disturbing green tint.”

ITReviews reviews the Lexmark P350 and writes;
“Lexmark quotes a print life with these new technologies as 100 years in a frame and up to 200 years in an album. It also quotes a maximum duty cycle of 125 pages a month. It’s not the fastest printer in the world, though, taking nearly three minutes to print a photo, but the resulting prints were sharp with a good balance of colour.”

PhotographyBlog reviews the Lexmark P350 and writes;
“Colours were on the whole accurate, although reds were over-saturated. Black and white shades had an obvious cyan caste, so the P350 wouldn’t be a great choice if you required neutral black and white photos. The prints feel like “real” photos, although they aren’t as glossy as some of the other brands that we tested (which you may or may nor prefer).”

PCMag reviews the Lexmark P350 and writes;
“Output quality is certainly good enough for snapshots to hand out to family and friends. Every photo I printed displayed true photo quality, with subjects ranging from landscapes to snowscapes to portraits. That said, a few flaws prevent it from being ideal. In our test photos that include people, for example, skin tones looked a touch yellow. In most cases, the color shift simply made people look tanned, but in one case, the face looked jaundiced.”

User Opinions

Lexmark P350 User Reviews

An excellent printer for the price and quality., | Rating: ★★★★★
“I bought the printer in April and I have been very pleased for the performance, quality and cost. I printed hundreds of invitation cards, name tags, driving direction and the reception program for my son’s wedding. The outcome was perfect. I did not encounter the problem that the last poster experienced. I chose 524 ($699) rather than 522 ($399) because it provided high yield replacement toners which will cut down the printing cost by 39% in the long-run. Of course, if one prints haphazardly, C522 may be more economic. The weight stands at 57 lbs, relatively light in the laser printer arena. It is good for at home or small business usage.” – by Roger Moore
