Leica Summarit-M 35mm f/2.5 User Reviews

Superb, Compact 35mm Rangefinder Camera Lens from Leica, | Rating: ★★★★★
“These pictures offered more contrast, as well as the high resolution that I’ve come to expect from the latest generation of Leica’s M-mount rangefinder lenses. If there is one slight sour gripe that I must express about this lens, then it’s the regrettable fact that its lens hood must be purchased separately (This is also true for the other Summarit lenses too.). Otherwise, I think anyone who appreciates a compact Leica 35mm lens with a focusing tab will be interested in adding this Summarit lens to their kit, either as their primary 35mm lens, or as a “back-up” to their Summicron or Summilux (or both) lenses.” – by John Kwok

Leica Summarit-M 35mm f/2.5 Specifications

The new Summarit-M models feature compact construction in a lens speed class that is totally new for Leica. The Leica Summarit-M 35 mm f/2.5 gives all users of rangefinder cameras with a Leica M bayonet access to the smallest and lightest 35 mm lens available, offering the outstanding image quality that is the hallmark of all Leica M lenses.
