Kodak Easyshare Z950 Reviews

HardwareSecrets reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“This Kodak takes very good pictures and it has a few unique features. The Smart Capture mode is excellent so it can make a beginner look like an expert. In addition to the good automatic mode, the user can manually set more of the functions than most cameras of this level allow. So it is a good camera for a beginner who wants to test the waters of manual functionality.”

PhotographyBay reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“While the overall performance is very average, the controls and image quality is somewhat redeeming, which makes the Z950 an attractive camera for anyone shopping for a capable point and shoot camera on a budget..”

TechTree reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“t this price you get a camera with good picture quality with a nice high zoom lens and HD video recording capability. The design of the camera is quite decent too and so is the overall build quality. The features are also decent and overall the Z950 is a well rounded product. The startup time could have been better though and the video recording quality indoors is quite poor. but for the price the Z950 is definitely worth a look.

CNET reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“The good: Nice features, photo quality for the money. The bad: Shooting performance can be frustrating; comparatively narrow lens. The bottom line: As long as you’re a patient snapshooter, the Kodak EasyShare Z950 is a respectable compact megazoom camera.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

TrustedReviews reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“The Z950 could have been a really good camera. It has decent build quality, looks good and handles well, with accessible controls. It has optional manual exposure features that others in its class lack, and the HD video with optical zoom is a nice extra. It’s a real shame that it’s let down so badly by extremely slow performance.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

DCI reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“The Z950 is a decent camera, with decent performance and a decent set of features. And decent is not a bad thing: it takes good pictures and has a zoom long enough to get close to the action. But it doesn’t really shine in any area, and some of the features don’t live up to the hype.”

PhotographyBlog reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“Though noise is kicking into shadow areas as low as ISO 200, even by ISO 800 it’s not at ruinous levels, and, if you can steer clear of ISO 1600, the results won’t disappoint too harshly…. Therefore we’re happy to flag up the Kodak EasyShare Z950 as a best buy.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

Steve’sDigicams reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“When viewing the images at 100%, you start to notice noise at ISO 400, but from there all the way to ISO 1600, the camera produces images that are printable and very low noise for each setting. “

ComputerActive reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“Good points Good build quality; small dimensions; large zoom range; Bad points Disappointing in low light; slow to respond on some settings; slightly bulkier than competitors”
Rating: ★★★★½

DCR reviews the Kodak Easyshare Z950 and writes;
“Overall, I was pleased with the Kodak EasyShare Z950. It has many automatic features that make it easy for beginners along with manual exposure controls for more ambitious users. Its ergonomics are very good, with a couple of minor exceptions. While it’s not the fastest camera on the block in starting up and shutting down, it is relatively quick in performing other functions.”

Rating: ★★★★★ – Love this camera
“I love Kodak Easy Share Cameras. This is my 5th one. I gave two of them to my children who also love them. I love getting the newest models. I have not found a point and shoot that I like better and I have tried several other brand name cameras.” - by Nancy
