Kodak EasyShare Z1275 Reviews

CNET.uk reviews the Kodak EasyShare Z1275 and writes;
“We like: Decent zoom lens; HD video. We don’t like: Terrible zoom rocker; subpar screen; no optical image stabilisation; terrible battery lifeKodak may have set out to make 12 megapixels affordable, but the EasyShare Z1275 is just cheap. A decent lens and HD video capability is hamstrung by a lack of features, slow performance and shocking battery life”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

Steve’sDigicams reviews the Kodak EasyShare Z1275 and writes;
“Image quality was very good, producing sharp images through out the zoom range, with only slight edge softness. The colors are very vibrant and the exposure system did well. There is slight noise that is noticeable in some of the blue skies when viewing the images at 100%, but I don’t think it would be noticeable in prints unless you were to get bigger than an 8×10. ”

PhotoReview.au reviews the Kodak EasyShare Z1275 and writes;
“Our test shots were visibly noise affected at ISO settings of 400 and above and shots taken at ISO 1600 were quite blotchy. Long exposures at ISO 400 and above showed a strong yellow/green cast, while a magenta cast was seen at lower ISO settings. The flash was fairly weak and only capable of illuminating an average-sized room at ISO 400 sensitivity or higher.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

TrustedReviews reviews the Kodak EasyShare Z1275 and writes;
“The Kodak EasyShare Z1275 is a camera with a number of problems and few saving graces. It is heavy and bulky for a compact, build quality is below average, it lacks any real image stabilisation for its longer-than-average zoom range, and its performance and image quality are well below par. The HD video mode is potentially useful, the lens is very good and the asking price is relatively low for a 12MP camera, but I’m afraid that isn’t enough to save it. The possibility of a crippling technical problem is the final nail in the coffin.”
Rating: ★★☆☆☆

InfoSync reviews the Kodak EasyShare Z1275 and writes;
“Right off the bat, we were not drawn to this camera. It’s design is clunky, reminiscent of years past when we expected cameras to be bulky and unattractive. The lens is massive, yet somehow it doesn’t translate into crystal-clear images or even a superzoom, stopping short at 5x. We liked the video and panorama modes, but these certainly weren’t enough to make us actually want to own one.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

GoodGearGuide reviews the Kodak EasyShare Z1275 and writes;
“For those after a small yet powerful camera to capture high-resolution shots, the 12 megapixel Kodak EASYSHARE Z1275 will do the trick. Its pictures aren’t the best we’ve seen, but they should satisfy many users.”
Rating: ★★★½☆
