Kodak Easyshare M893 IS Reviews

TrustedReviews reviews the Kodak Easyshare M893 IS and writes;
“Overall build quality and design are of a rather low standard, and while start-up and single-shot speeds are adequate, other aspects of the performance are quite poor, especially autofocus and low light capability. Poor image quality and serious noise problems are the final nails in the coffin.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

ePhotozine reviews the Kodak Easyshare M893 IS and writes;
“ISO80 and ISO100 give brilliant results with sharp edges and good detail. ISO200 doesn’t show any noise either, until the image is zoomed into full size, then sharpness of noise can be seen on the dark and mid-tone areas..”
Rating: ★★★½☆

GoodGearGuide reviews the Kodak Easyshare M893 IS and writes;
“As with many compacts, everything up to ISO 400 was usable for most print sizes.. While the Kodak EasyShare M893 IS carries a relatively low price tag, it can be slow at times while the image quality leaves a little to be desired at times.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

RegHardware reviews the Kodak Easyshare M893 IS and writes;
“At around £110 the M893 isn’t bad value for money. You get a highly portable camera with a fair sprinkling of features – although not too much on the manual side – and a reasonable performance, with a few caveats. The M893 is not bad, but it will hardly get your pulse racing when you use it..”
Rating: ★★★½☆

CNET.uk reviews the Kodak Easyshare M893 IS and writes;
” The M893 IS barely exhibits this at all. Colour is vibrant, and skin tones good. Purple fringing on the boundary between light and dark areas was more of an issue than we’d like, but didn’t impact too badly on prints.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

Pocket-Lint reviews the Kodak Easyshare M893 IS and writes;
” The Kodak EasyShare M893 IS provides nice features within a tidy, pocketable design but image noise and sluggish performance don’t do it any favours..If you are after a reasonable snapper and you’ll print images at modest sizes you’ll be happy”
Rating: ★★★½☆
