GearDigest reviews the Kodak EasyShare C533 (Rating: 6/10) and writes;
“The Kodak EasyShare C533 is a good choice for the novice who wants more control than the HP M437 offers. At a time when the trend is towards larger LCD displays, some people might be put off by the somewhat smaller than average 1.8″ display, but the optical viewfinder might just make that tradeoff acceptable.”

CNET Asia reviews the Kodak EasyShare C533 (Rating: 6/10) and writes;
“Despite a slow 4.6-second wake-up time, the C533 performed decently in our tests. We recorded a shot-to-shot rate of 1.8 seconds, which increased to just 2.3 seconds with the flash enabled… Photos taken on the C533 are attractive enough but far from the best in class: They suffer from significant purple fringing along contrasting edges, overly cool or warm images, and noticeable noise at ISO 200 and above.”

PCMag reviews the Kodak EasyShare C533 (Rating: 3/5) and writes;
“The Kodak EasyShare C533 is a good choice for budget-minded consumers who want an easy-to-use compact camera and aren’t overly concerned with style. But there are better options, including the HP Photosmart R817, which offers 5X optical zoom and slightly better photo quality—if you can spare $100 more.”

Steve’sDigicams reviews the Kodak EasyShare C533 and writes;
“The overall image quality of its 5.0MP image was ok for a camera in this class. While most of our samples are sharp and show pleasing color saturation, I found that many of our outdoor shots were a bit overexposed. It seemed to do this only when there was very bright sunlight. Bottom line – Kodak’s EasyShare C533 is yet another appealing digicam in the entry-level consumer class. Offering average image quality, good performance, and plenty of helpful exposure modes..”
