Is NI-MH Batteries Dangerous ?

You may not know this but NI-MH batteries used in may digital cameras can be dangerous if not handled correctly.

If you short-circuit them for more than a couple of seconds, they can release all their stored current in one go.

For safety’s sake, keep your rechargeable cells in an insulated contaioner such as a strong plastic bag and out of contact with any metallic objects such as keys, jewellry, camera accesories etc
