light and fits INSIDE my backpack
“I’m 5’10″ tall and this compact monopod extends to the perfect height. I’ve used it with a 500 f4 Canon lens and it was strong enough to hold it stable. I wanted a monopod that can fit in my computer backpack (which fits a 17″ macbook pro) and this fits the bill. I didn’t try the aluminum version which is slightly lighter and half the price, but in my work, every ounce you carry counts.” – By thai charlie

Excellent, Lightweight, Sturdy
“I bought this to be able to walk around all day with a Canon 7D and a Sigma 50-500 lens. I’ve not a long trip yet, but I’ve used the monopod with this and other configurations and I’m very happy. The sections are easy to deploy, and easy to lock down. The weight of the camera/lens combo doesn’t concern me. I’m 200lb and I can lean on this thing without the legs so much as budging. The monopod is very stout.” – By redbeard

Very good choice
“..This Induro over the GM2561T was only 2.7″ longer, because its 1.7″ taller for people 5.7 and above, weights 2.8 oz more but is 10 times sturdier due to the 8X carbon instead of 6X, I leaned on it to use as a walking stick. This CM25 is solid and will take a load up to 22lbs instead of 9.9 lbs support. Against the GT5561T the Induro is 12oz lighter, 5 sections instead of 6 section giving more stability, but the Gitzo load was 55 lbs and this one is 22 lbs. I didn’t feel I will ever buy a lens weighting 55 lbs. Upon arrival I was happy to see it was all that this monopod was meant to be. Smooth extension of legs, sturdy, and the locking worked flawless. Be sure to register online, Induro will extend your warranty from 2 to 5 years. I paired this monopod with a Manfrotto 460MG Magnesium head with an RC2 quick release, which quite different from the usual Ball Head.” – By D. Davis
