HP PSC 2210 Reviews

Steves-digicams reviews the HP PSC 2210 and writes;
“This is a bordered 4×6″ direct from a flash memory card. You can only print borderless from the computer with software. These prints were scanned with the HP PSC 2210 and have no color correction or enhancement other than being downsized for web page use. We got print after print with the same excellent colors and sharpness. “

Dcresource reviews the HP PSC 2210 and writes;
“The HP PSC 2210 all-in-one definitely lives up to the hype, especially when it comes to easy photo printing. The proof sheet system is very clever, and can be used by people of any age. The multi-function features of the 2210 like faxing, scanning, and copying may not get a lot of use outside of the home office, but they’re a nice bonus to the 2210′s impressive photo printing abilities. The trick to getting the best photos with any inkjet printer is to use the nice premium paper — it really does matter. For the 2210 specifically, the photo ink cartridge is a must.”

HP PSC 2210 User Reviews

Great value at twice the price
“This is by far the best All-in-One for the home on the market today. Since buying it, I’ve stopped printing digital photos from my PC – the memory card reader and Proof Sheet function just makes it too easy to print directly from the camera – any digital camera. The photo quality using 4 inks is great – it’s all I usually use. Buying the optional photo cartridge to make it a 6-ink printer makes the print quality indistinguishable from film prints as well as any other printer on the market.” – by A Customer

Impressive little printer (and scanner, copier, fax)
“I bought this a week ago, and am blown away. The printout pictures are incredibly sharp. It is quiet and fast. Text looks much sharper than my old Epson Stylus Photo. I’ve never had a problem with an HP printer, and so far this one has not disappointed me one bit… Update: I have had this for a year now, and still find it to be the best printer/copier I could ever ask for. The printouts are beautiful, and I do a LOT of baby pictures on photo paper. The copier doesn’t interrupt the computer which means my wife can continue playing games when I need a quick copy of a contract or latest baby photo. I’ve used the scanner very little, and had some color correlation issues, but they seemed to be software related.” – by Mark Pontius

Shockingly Good
“I’m running it with Mac OS X, the printer gives great results on documents, and digital photos look quite good as well. I’ve done a few test scans and was shocked at how good the results were. Fax and copier…..great stuff, in fact I had a hard time believing my eyes when I did the first couple color copies on this unit. And the ability to put my Digital Photo media cards into the printer, print out a “contact sheet” of all images on the card, then mark the images I want to print out full size, place the sheet back in to be scanned and then have the desired images pop out of the printer…..great stuff.” – by Michael J. A Great Basic MFD
“I’m very pleased with this purchase. It was a replacement for a 8-year-old MFD, and it has fulfilled all of my goals. No, it’s not a top-of-the line printer/copier/scanner/fax, but frankly I didn’t need one. I do just 5-10 copies a week and a scan or fax here and there. Every once and awhile, I use it as a backup for my laser printer. For my needs, it’s great. I love that I can turn off the fax or set it so it “listens” for fax tones before answering. The copy quality is actually superior to the local library’s machines. “ – by value4u2

Great Quality for the price
“Using for copying only. Execellent for BW copying. Great for color copying but too slow. For 5 or 6 color copies its fine. I am amazed at the quality this machine produces copying color prints. I have taken standard 4×6 prints and enlarged to 8×10. It is nearly impossible at times to tell which is a copy and which is a original. It helps to start with a good quality original.” – by A Customer

Check the model #. Is it also a fax machine
“I think the reviewer mentioning the Walmart price of one hundred and something did not notice that the printer advertised is the 2210 without the fax function. I almost did not catch this myself. If that is not the case. Nevermind. Now, I must say, the 2210v is a great printer, a great fax machine, and a pretty good scanner. That is all. “ – by chillwater

Excellent machine
“I have had my 2210 for over a year now and it has performed like a champion. I’ve had no issues with this printer what-so-ever. Print quality is excellent; color copies are excellent. I have also used the copier function to make color copies of photographs and they are near perfect to the original photo! Having the memory card slots is a huge plus and I’ve had no compatibility problems using the various brands of memory cards I have.” – by A Customer

No problems so far
“I use it fairly often about three times a week and I think it is very easy to use. The pictures I have printed out on it are great quality. (I always use HP ink and high quality photo paper)It has never jammed up, faxing and scanning are easy, the ppm speed is decent and you can print pictures straight from any type of media card. Overall it is a great all-in-one at a great price. For the people who are having problems with printing and jamming, I would recommend using better paper, HP ink and you also have to take the time out and clean the printer like it tells you to in the manual.” – by M. A good solid printer
“This is a great printer. It is VERY DURABLE. I have had this printer for about 4 years now. I have printed hundreds of full color photos, hundreds of black and white text, etc. To this day the printer still can print very good quality full color photos. The scanner still works great. The fax part, which I’ve not used much, still works great. It pretty much works just as good as the day I bought it. This is the first printer I’ve had for more than a few years that didn’t break down or develop printing alignment problems…” – by Baron Williams
