HP Photosmart D7560 Reviews

Printerinfo reviews the HP Photosmart D7560 and writes;
“The HP Photosmart D7560 is a cheap printer: at around $100, it certainly won’t break the bank. But the quality of the prints it produces is anything but cheap, with very decent color accuracy and good detail. It doesn’t produce the same color accuracy and detail as more expensive printers, but it does provide excellent value for money for anyone who wants to print high quality photos without spending a fortune.”

Digitaltrends reviews the HP Photosmart D7560 and writes;
“All of our photo test prints on HP’s included glossy paper turned out spectacular results, almost on par with lab prints. Colors were accurate and bright, details were crisp, and the overall outcome looked vibrant without appearing pumped up in contrast. We’re confident that most buyers wouldn’t be able to immediately spot the difference between these and real lab prints, but be aware that they aren’t flawless. As with all inkjet photos, you’ll be able to spot the tiny dots of ink if you look closely enough, especially in areas of gradation, like a blend from white to black.”

PCMag reviews the HP Photosmart D7560 and writes;
“That said, the D7560 earns points for printing on discs at all—just not as many as it would have gotten if it had had better software. Consider disc printing an added bonus on top of fast speed for documents and better-than-average output quality for graphics and photos. Whether you’re looking for a home printer to use primarily for photos or an all-purpose printer that can print photos particularly well, the D7560 belongs on your short list.”

Great Photo Printer – HUGE Ink Hog
“I have to say that the photo quality is great. I use HP photo paper and I love how the colors are so bright and the images are so crisp. I really like that I can print 4×6 borderless prints on 4×6 paper. It can also print up to 8×10. This printer has 5 ink cartridges: cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and photo black. If you are in printing or design, you may know that all full color printed pieces are made up of the first four colors. The addition of photo black gives a rich, deep black and creates better contrast. The combination of these inks makes for a great print.” – by K. Groh

Great CD/DVD printer
“I was looking for an economical way to print nice colorful CDs and DVDs for a small business of mine. I had previously used the laser engraving method but was not pleased with its clarity. I researched some very expensive disc labeling machines but learned that HP had a line of Photosmart printers that would also print directly on the CD/DVD. I would agree the included software is poor if you want to vary from the designs included, but I developed a Photoshop template that works nicely.” – by River Girl

Nice printer
“Nice printer with a nice price.I did some research and I think it paid off. I am very pleased with this printer. I have a dell computer,but I like Hp printers better. I also have an old HP Deskjet 5740 printer too.Ink dries fast to HP photo paper,which is good. HP photosmart D7560 is very noisy,but it does the job. I have it for a month now. I love it.” – by David L. Mcdonald Jr.

Perfect for Users without a PC
“This was the perfect choice for my use. I do not have a computer but like to review my digital pictures before printing. The display window is perfect for this. It works great with my Kodak camera. I was plesantly surprised by the bright colors in the prints. A million times better than my previous Kodak printer. Very simple to use, especially for the non-technical user. It has card slots or USB connection to my camera. Would highly recommend.” – by B. Mallard

Many deficiencies, but excellent photo quality
“I got the HP D7560 based on Consumer Reports ratings that showed excellent 8×10 photo quality. The installation in Win7 was lengthy and difficult — the computer rejected the HP installation disk on the first try — but eventually I got everything done including the installation of a versatile HP driver. Photo quality at both 8×10 and 4×6 is excellent — I couldn’t ask for more.” – by Lawrence R. Hudson

A great photo printer for the money
“The quality of the print jobs is superior. I am somewhat disappointed with the ink consumption, but I get around it by using my other HP for the more routine print jobs. The cost of replacement ink is pretty high compared with other HP units. This printer is loaded with features. Direct printing from memory cards is pretty neat. All in all, I am very happy with this unit and would recommend it for photo and labeling jobs. Use a cheaper printer if you are doing batch printing or just black and white letters and handouts. “ – by Pierre LaFarge

Now I love to print my own photos
“The HP Photosmart printer does a beautiful job of printing my digital pictures. It is simple to use and to change the ink cartridges. It does seem rather noisy when printing but does a beautiful job. The colors are so very rich. It is a great value for the money.” – by Eileen Diane Wilson
