HP Photosmart C7250 User Reviews

Works for me
“The software loaded fairly rapidly – I’d say less than 20 minutes and the wireless function worked very well. It is a bit noisy & shaky but overall no worse than my old printer, an HP PSC500 which still prints great but has software that won’t even work with XP, thus effectively no scanner. So far I’m very satisfied with the new one. Consumer reports grades the text quality as only fair, but to my eyes it looks really nice, and the pictures are beautiful.” – by notayuppie

Overall a good machine
“Text print quality is very good – you can via the preference settings just use the black ink to save the colors (if you don’t specify this and choose “best text” it WILL use the colored ink as well). The scanner was decent – I’ve seen better and worse, and you need to scan a photo at 600dpi in order to get decent reprinting results. The duplex printing funtion so far works fine, as does the copier function. Faxing is standard. The document feeder is nice to have (if slow). Photo printing on HP 22lb paper is “ok” – somewhat faded but decent I guess. On 4×6 glossy HP photo paper it’s much better, and the paper rests in it’s own tray.” – by Gregory A. Henry

Great printer, fabulous price
“I was interested in this printer since it offers the best combination of features we’re interested in. It’s getting more and more difficult to find places close by to make a single copy of something, and my old scanner is kaput, and my wife has been complaining ever since we got a digital camera that she can’t hold the pictures in her hand. We had an earlier generation photo-capable HP, but she wasn’t up to the chore of putting in the right paper, swapping out ink cartridges and fighting with the photo printing software on our computer. This unit holds all the right ink, all the time, and can handle photo paper (4×6) and regular paper simultaneously, and we can take the SD card right out of the camera and place it into the printer and easily print the photos we want. “ – by John Sims

Great Printer! Wonderful with OS X Leopard
“I bought this printer for use with my Macs, and it is working out very well. I had no issues with connecting this printer to my WPA PSK wireless network. I think I know why people are having issues with connectivity. I noticed that you can only choose 1 connection type: USB, WiFi, or Ethernet. You can’t connect your main computer via USB and the rest via network. I thought that this was going to be a downer, but WiFi printing is actually pretty fast and setting them all up was a breeze.” – by serasbach

Pretty good all-in-one
“The instructions were pretty straight forward, and if you follow the instructions you should be fine. The program setup took a little longer than expected, but it was okay. One thing I would change about this: it shakes a little too much when it prints so I wouldn’t put it on a stand or anything. Printing time is okay, but not fast. Overall it’s a good printer to have at home and the features are good too.” – by A. Moon

“This is the best printer i ever used. Can fax, copy, print and scan in color and black & white. The picture is better than the costco print. I had a picture printed from costco and i printed the same copy in this printer and it came out better than costco prints. Good color, its unbelievable. I love the features being wireless and able to detect an incoming fax tone so it starts receiving fax even its hook up to your answering machine. I configure and install the software in no time. Its a great great printer. I love it. I printed a lot of pictures now.” – by A. Squires

Quite satisfactory
“Purchased from Costco at great sell price. Six cartrige photo printing is quite impressive, a little too yellow, need to adjust color a bit. Installed flawlessly. Wireless network picked up effortlessly. Pop up window keeps appearing, alternately warning “connected” and “disconnected”. No problem printing, scanning, faxing. User friendly. I would buy it again.” – by Bakul Dalal

Great Printer! Could not be happier
“Love this all-in-one! Had some misgivings after reading some bad reviews of other HPs, but I have always used the brand for printing and it was on sale, so I went for it. The only glitch was that I had to hardwire it to my computer as it would not recognize the network but other than that I could not be happier! It prints, scans and copies easily. Do not have the fax hooked up as I do not want junk faxes, but the copies are very nice and fast. I like that it uses individual color cartridges rather than one color cartridge…” – by Andrew L.
