HP Photosmart C6380 Reviews
PCWorld reviews the HP Photosmart C6380 and writes;
“The impressive quality of the has carried over. Using the same dual-drop ink cartridges as its less expensive counterpart, the C6380 offers excellent quality text documents that surpass most, if not all, inkjet printers and multifunctions in the home market. Colour documents with graphics have highly accurate and vibrant colour that doesn’t interfere with superimposed text.”
ITreviews reviews the HP Photosmart C6380 and writes;
“As a scanner, the Photosmart C6380 performs reasonably well. A 300dpi A4 colour scan takes just under 17 seconds to materialise and, although by no means spectacular, the quality will be good enough for most home users. Meanwhile, mono photocopies are pretty speedy at 15 seconds each, although once again if the printer decides a warm-up procedure is in order you may end up having to wait a while longer.”
PCMag reviews the HP Photosmart C6380 and writes;
“Photo quality was also better than what you get from most inkjets. I saw a color-balance issue with a monochrome photo, with different shades of gray showing different color tints, but every color photo was well above my minimum standards for true photo quality—much closer to what you would expect from a professional photo lab than from your local drugstore.”
CNET reviews the HP Photosmart C6380 and writes;
“The text prints were generally very good with a bit of stair stepping in smaller fonts, but graphics and photos were marred with a dull blue cast across the spectrum and visible without magnification. In addition, we saw significant graininess in large color blocks including portraits and shading. Overall, we’re satisfied with the print quality of the C6380, and it’s definitely fine for casual home users who want to print out snapshots and text, but dedicated photographers should seek out a more professional-oriented printer.”
HP Photosmart C6380 User Reviews
Software was missing a file, | Rating:
“Since XP came pre-installed on my computer and I didn’t have the installation CD, I couldn’t complete the installation. After 6 hours on the phone with customer support (both the printer department and the computer department), I finally got the software installed and running. The printer and scanner work great. Photo prints are amazing, especially considering the low cost of the printer. Looks as good as prints from film to my eye.” – by R. E. Wise
What a great printer, | Rating:
“Installation was very easy, took about 20 minutes total. I had a HP 3210 which was billed as the fasted photo printer in the world at the time, this one is faster. Ink cartridges are very simple to install and not very expensive ($10 for the color and $12 for black, photo black is $10 also) . Installed the printer on 3 laptops through the wireless feature no problems installing on any of them.” – by SunShine
Had trouble setting up wirelessly but overall nice PC., | Rating:
“I was able to set the printer up with wirelessly but when I was installing the CD on my computer I ran into problems. It was able to detect my printer but at the very end said the printer could not be installed. I had to Chat with a Tech support with no luck and finally called HP (open 24 hours 7 days a week) for support. After 4 hours of trying to get it intalled it finally worked thanks to the Tech Support. Prints, Scans and copyies very well. I like the quality of the printers. “ – by N. Bruske
Great Printer!, | Rating:
“The print quality is great…I’ve printed both photographs (size 4 x 6…you can also print up to 8 1/2 x 11)) and color copies on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. The scanner quality is also good. The software included makes it easy to print photos stored on your computer and easy to scan images and file them. I’d definitely recommend this printer as being a good value for the price. “ – by Artist Kath
Great All-in-One printer, | Rating:
“Would recommend this printer, printed material is very easy to read as characters are very sharp. Colors are very clear and brilliant when printing photos. We are very satisfied with this printer and would recommend it, particularly for home use. We would purchase through Amazon again as this order was handled promptly and satisfactorily. “ – by Bill
Nice Printer., | Rating:
“This is a very decent printer for the money. My previous printer was also a HP (four years old) and this one is better. The scan quality is very good and the print quality is better, too. I use if for my home based business so I won’t use the photo printing much, although I did print a picture right after setting the printer up and the quality is very very good.” – by James E. Rasmussen
included ink cartridges are a joke … otherwise OK, | Rating:
“Setup was easy, and first task was to print several 4×6 photos using the included ink cartridges and the 5-10 pieces of sample 4×6 paper (can’t remember exactly how many sample 4×6’s it came with …) and was very happy with the print quality. “ – by L. Reimer
