“Printing borderless full colour photos takes over six minutes for a full sized A4 image and around a minute and a half for a 6 x 4-inch snap. The C4680 certainly isn’t the fastest out of the blocks, but almost surprisingly we were very pleased with the resultant quality, which aside from a slightly grainy hue maintains bright, accurate colour balance, sharp lines and deep blacks that for most people would be indistinguishable from professional prints in a lab. Skin tones are accurate and fine details are reproduced extremely well, especially considering the low-end nature of the device.”

Colour photos showed a small degree of banding and graininess but otherwise varied from washed-out fleshtones to precise contours and shadowing in inanimate objects. Scanned output showed sharp detail and colours that were a little dark.”

“I love this printer! It has been probably around 4 months since I bought it and the free black ink cartridge just ran out now and there is still over half of the color one. To refill the black ink I figured out that you can actually order it online just by clicking on the hp printer utility icon on the computer. They tell you the ink the printer needs and there is free next day shipping! I couldn’t believe this. Printer also has many options like multi pages on one and quick print to save ink.
