HP Officejet Pro L7780 Reviews
CNET reviews the HP Officejet Pro L7780 and writes;
“When printed on coated inkjet paper at best quality, text had a near-laser quality; it was sharp, clean, and consistent, and the black was rich. The color-graphics print also displayed excellent print quality, with smooth gradients, pleasing color saturation, and excellent color reproduction in the photo elements. We did see some minor jaggedness in curved black lines, but that was our only complaint. The 4×6 photo prints pleased us, too; they showed sharp details and good color reproduction (even in skin tones). We did see a bit of graininess in color blocks, but the prints are more than sufficient for snapshots.”
Expertreviews reviews the HP Officejet Pro L7780 and writes;
“Print quality on plain paper was very good, with the L7780′s pigment black ink delivering bold and sharp black text. Colour prints were streak-free, too. It’s easy to make decent photo prints from a PC or a memory card, though we can’t think why most office users would want to.. The L7780′s scanner behaves very differently when connected via USB, with previews taking a more reasonable 10 seconds. The quality of the results is different, too. Scan results were good when scanning wirelessly, but above 600 dots per inch (dpi) scans became blocky, suggesting that the driver was interpolating rather than capturing more detail. Over USB, we saw increased detail up to the 2,400dpi optical maximum, but scans appeared artificially sharpened, even though we had disabled sharpening in the interface.”
PCAdvisor reviews the HP Officejet Pro L7780 and writes;
“As the HP OfficeJet Pro L7780 is a proper business printer, it’s very impressive on text, producing crisp, sharp characters at the highest end. Draft mode isn’t at all bad and the Normal mode produces professional results at a fast speed of 11.1ppm.”
HP Officejet Pro L7780 User Reviews
Thumbs Up to HP
“Super cool, easy to install and set up as a network printer. I had no problems setting this device up on a wireless lan. It prints great, is a terrific card reader and five stars to everything else it does. “ – by Shannon Michaels
Really Glad I Made This Choice
“I spent quite amount of time reading reviews and researching for the best printer to accomodate my needs. Price was also a factor. There were some reviews that rated this printer higher and some lower. But when I made up my mind to purchase another printer I held off and kept coming back to this one and so far I am glad I did. I am a person who has no clue on what makes the guts of a computer tick, I received the printer and installed it in about 15 minutes without any problems. I followed instructions step by step, they were easy to understand and simple to follow. So far everything has worked as I expected and print color and quality is very sharp.” – by Mert
My HP Officejet Pro review
“I can send faxes from my laptop with easy. Copying works as expected. Scanning is great. The digital filing function allows you press a button to scan documents from the feeder or glass directly to a network drive without needing to do anything on a connected computer. You can also request a scan from a computer as with most all-in-ones. Print quality is excellent. Speed for black print is fast. Color printing is color printing but the quality is very good.” – by Doris A. Miles
Easy setup – nice all-in-one
“Once it was setup on my old computer and I had initiated the wireless feature, I had no problems adding the printer to my laptop which uses Vista. As of right now, I am liking this machine! We had an HP all-in-one for about 8 years that cost close to a grand so when that one started petering out and we went in search of a new one, we were happy to see the prices had come down quite a bit. I have tried out the copy features and the 2-sided copy features and it worked great! If anything changes in the next few months, I will add to the review but as of right now, this all-in-one was easy to set up and so far so good” – by ColoradoChk
So far, works great
“After removing all the packing tape including some in the ADF I didn’t notice until after jamming paper, this printer has been good. It eats ink up much less than the Canon MP830 I had. Ink usage was the primary reason I decided to retire the MP830. Also, when doing duplex, the HP does use its black ink for black data rather than using the color ink to make black as the canon does. Again, more efficient. I haven’t used all the features, but faxing, printing, coping and transferring pictures from the card readers has worked perfectly.” – by Wilfred W. Clarkson
Fast, Crisp and Easy – I Love It
“It saves hassle and energy and overheating my office by running extra computers. It is also very fast 4x faster on printing text than the 2000 model and 2x faster on photos. And the text is crisper. I can’t say the pix are any clearer but they were pretty good to begin with. Picture quality is very good. Setup was easy though it has to run through startup & calibration routines which take time, but it is automatic so well worth the one time wait. “ – by Bert Christianson
Looks like a winner
“Just bought this printer and so far, so good. The install was very smooth, once the printer finished grinding through its rather lengthy initialization. Had to set up the network connection via the onboard control panel rather than from the computer, but once that was done, installation was painless. This unit prints well and also faxes from the the computer without a hitch. Copying works as expected. Scanning is the big surprise. The digital filing function allows you press a button to scan documents from the feeder or glass directly to a network drive without needing to do anything on a connected computer. You can also request a scan from a computer as with most all-in-ones. Print quality is excellent. Speed is ho-hum. Duplex printing, WiFi, ethernet and usb connections standard, as is a a second paper tray.” – by M. S. Katz
