HP Officejet Pro L7590 Reviews
Expertreviews reviews the HP Officejet Pro L7590 and writes;
“The photo prints it produces are fair, although there’s some visible dither and shadowed areas may need software adjustment to reveal detail. Text prints are very good – indeed, they’re close to laser quality, with dense well-formed characters in black and colour print. Black text over colour is well registered and white-on-black text is clean, with no noticeable feathering around character edges. The internal resolution of the machine is 1200dpi, which helps.”
PCMag reviews the HP Officejet Pro L7590 and writes;
“Output quality for the L7590 follows a pattern similar to its speed: impressive for text and graphics but not photos. On our text tests, it scored unusually well for an inkjet, with more than half the test fonts easily readable and well formed at 5 points, several passing both thresholds at 4 points, and only one heavily stylized font with thick strokes needing 20 points. The edges aren’t as crisp as you’d see with a laser, but unless you need absolutely top-quality output—for a résumé, for example—the L7590 should be able to handle any text you need to print.”
Trustedreviews reviews the HP Officejet Pro L7590 and writes;
“Slow duplexing excepted this is a quick ink-jet all-in-one with fair running costs, particularly when you consider the maintenance frequency. Output is easily good enough for office use and draft mode is probably all you need for internal documentation. Thus, if you need a good quality all-in-one with a higher than normal duty cycle, you should certainly consider the OfficeJet Pro L7590.”
HP Officejet Pro L7590 User Reviews
So far, so good…very nice printer
“The printer output is very sharp and clean, and rivals a laser printer. It is also very fast for an inkjet printer. Scanning works flawlessly, although we haven’t set up the direct scan to file yet. Copying is very simple, one-touch. Faxing is easy, and is much faster than the HP d-series we had before. Overall, a great value, and HP seems to have fixed a lot of the problems that they had with previous, similar models. Based upon the short time we’ve had this printer, I would recommend it without reservation. Just be prepared to spend a half-hour or more going through the setup.” – by D. Sealy
Great printer, especially for the price
“I am glad that I gave them another chance, this printer is better than any inkjet I have ever seen. It prints photos super quick and I can print a large document double sided very fast. The ADF is also great, it can scan double sided. The ADF is not that quick, but I do not scan or copy that much. I scanned a double sided 25 page document and it took about 5 min. The paper tray holds half of a ream of paper, so I do have to keep putting paper in the tray. The print heads are easy to change and they should last about 4k pages. The ink is suppost to have a large page count, but I will have to wait and see.” – by Brian Mullins
Good choice for Home Office
“Print quality seems very good. Copies are excellent and the fax setup is just what I need. Have not done any scanning yet. As with the other reviews – the setup is time consuming – but does not require a lot of interaction – so I was able to do other things and was not overly bothered by this. Just two days in – but very pleased.” – by J. Cole Candler
HP L7590 Printer/Copier/Scanner/FAX with Intel Mac OS X
“I also bought this HP L7590 OfficeJet Pro All In One Printer at a big box office supply store for $199. The printer took the reported 20 minutes to initialize. I downloaded the drivers from the HP site with no problem. The printer initially wouldn’t respond to the setup because I had it plugged into a hub instead of directly to the iMac USB ports. All operations except FAX, which I don’t intend to use and didn’t test, work fine. I printed a color .jpg file, scanned & printed a b&w print, then scanned a text document, all with very good results. “ – by J. Neff
Great printer for the price
“I have my L7590 set up in my office, and it’s working fine over the network with a variety of operating systems. It took a little bit of effort to set up on the laptops running Windows Vista. On the Macs I installed the stuff from the CD, and then just used one of the pre-installed HP OfficeJet drivers instead of the one that came with the printer. The Linux computer took about 30 seconds to set up. The print quality is good, and this printer’s a lot faster than the last one we had. “ – by Chrissy Rey
“Our whole family has been very satisfied with this printer. It is amazingly fast for an inkjet machine and the quality of the printouts is first rate. The black letters are crisp and the color (and overall photo print) quality was surprising. Did not really expect such nice results since the printer does not have quite the pixel image quality that the equivalent Canon machine advertised. All the same, I am glad to have purchased this unit given the availability of ink cartridges wherever we shop and their relatively low cost.” – by Late Life Student
“I’ve used this printer for about a month and really like it. Easy to set up. prints at a good speed and the print quality is good. It is a little noisy when printing but that’s not really a problem for my use. Cost on Amazon made it a great deal. “ – by G. Grosskreutz
“this printer does all it said it would do. The color is good and the speed is good. The only thing I would like to have seen was a little less ink on the page(picture will have enough ink to curl the paper) and it is very noisy. overall happy.” – by G. Grosskreutz
“Great printer, easy to set up and use. Prints great photos as well as documents. I have used the scanner just to practice and make sure it works, easy to operate and works wonderfully. I do not have the fax hooked up at this time so cannot attest to its function but if it works as well as the other modes I am sure I will be very pleased.” – by Tammy M. Palermo
