HP Officejet 6310 Reviews

Trustedreviews reviews the HP Officejet 6310 and writes;
“HP doesn’t seem to know quite where to pitch this machine. With one breath its marketeers say it’s not designed for those requiring high-yield ink cartridges, while with the next it tries to sell twin packs of standard-yield cartridges. In other respects, the OfficeJet 6310 ticks all the boxes and comes in at a good price. Text print is definitely a bit jagged round the edges, though.”

PCMAG reviews the HP Officejet 6310 and writes;
“The photo output quality is among the best I’ve seen from an ink jet AIO, with most photos qualifying as true photo quality. I ran into one issue, with two straight lines of small dots on each page of glossy paper. But HP said the dots indicated the printer was damaged, with a misaligned wheel for advancing the paper, and, indeed, the problem did not show up in a second printer. A more important issue is that the photos aren’t water-resistant, which makes them easy to smudge long after they dry, but that’s not uncommon with ink jet–based printers.”

CNET reviews the HP Officejet 6310 and writes;
“The OfficeJet 6310 also displayed middling quality. The text, though nicely dark, suffered from rough edges and some inconsistencies in letter formation. We saw similar problems in the color graphics print: fuzzy edges and slightly blurry quality. It did a pretty good job with color reproduction, and color blocks were nicely saturated but showed some graininess we didn’t like. It handled grayscale and color gradients pretty well, too. The photo elements showed noticeable graininess, though the color, again, was fairly accurate.”

Overall Great networkable All-In-One
“This is a great All-in-one if you have a home office or many computers in your home. If you don’t need a networkable printer, go with the 5610. But if are going to use a printer with multiple computers, you can’t beat this one. I’m fed up with Epson, so I decided to try HP. I’m glad I did. It works fine with my Apple AirPort Extreme and all my Macs.” – by M. Kaplan

Great for the small/home office
“Printing: The meat and potatoes of any all-in-one machine, this printer is no slouch. I’ve always had great quality, be it documents or photos. Ink usage is conservative (read: I don’t spend a lot on ink). I haven’t had any issues in a little over a year of daily use. Faxing: Faxing out is quick and easy using the buttons on the faceplate. I usually stick to black and white but this unit will do colour fax. Incoming faxes can be either printed directly or stored to memory for printing when you’re ready. I find this feature handy because I can do away with spam faxes by deleting any incoming faxes I was not expecting.” – by Amozarte

Excellent all-in-one for home or office
“You can’t ask for much more in a machine. It does it all. The photo card slots are just another plus. Set up was about as easy as it gets. The only negative is that none of the companies include a usb cord any more. I would highly recommend this product. “ – by George Gibson

This is a great machine
“My husband and I run a small business from our home and have owned hp printers in the past. I must say that I was skeptical about getting this printer because the hp printer software is always so buggy. I am pleasantly surprised that I was able to put the software on two separate computers with no problem. My reason for purchasing this particular machine is the ability to print wirelessly and I am not disappointed. I am able to print from my laptop without any problems. This machine makes my life a lot easier because I don’t have to worry whether the main computer attached to the printer is turned on… I really am pleased with this machine, it’s exactly what our home business needed.” – by P. Great all-in-one for home use
“The quality of color printing is great with reasonable speed. The fax and copy functions are convenient and easy to use. I have only used the scan funtion occasionally, and it seems to work well. Most importantly, it has survived my pre-schooler’s copying of socks, pens, stuffed animals, and such. So far, I am quite happy with this purchase. It looks like the price has come down some since when I purchased it. So if you need a device that does everything under the sun: print, scan, fax, and copy, AND is network ready so that you may share the device with all of your wireless and hard-wired computers, this is a good one to get. “ – by Swim Good

This is a Fabulous AIO
“This AIO is fabulous. Here are some of the features that I have tried: 1. Network Connectivity: (Excellent).. 2. Print quality: So the black and white and color prints have been quite good. I have not tried any super high quality color printing yet. 3. Print speed: More than acceptable to me…” – by K. Kalyanam

It does everything just fine, and the network access is great
“…This does a pretty good job as a color (and photo) printer. It’s not a dedicated color printer (like some of the Epson units that cost as much as this all-in-one), and that shows in its speed and overall fidelity. But it’s pretty darned good, and will meet the average user’s photo needs and almost all user’s non-photo needs. The copier works well. It takes a little while to get going, but once it starts, it’s reasonably fast on low-quality mode. Multipage copies are easy with the sheet-feeder…” – by R. Plotkin

Perfect little all-in-one printer
“I have a home office set up so that I can sometimes work from home. I was tired of having 3 different printers (laser, inkjet, inkjet with scanner and copier) and a fax machine. This nifty little guy replaced all four machines! It works wonderfully. The print quality is very good, better then I expected. For someone that uses it to print presentation materials, the occasional personal photos, send faxes, scan, and make copies, this machine is a great addition.” – by R. Mastromauro

Almost perfect complete office suite
“I recently upgraded to the HP6310 from the HP7110 a machine I was more than happy with. The move has been excellent, all functions are faster particularly color printing, the unit is significantly more compact and the quality of images are also a serious upgrade. The unit has almost no shake and is extremely quiet in operation, particularly in comparison with my old 7110. In addition the price differential between this machine and the much inferior HP5610 is very small. New features include the ability to take several formats of camera memory cards and read directly from them to print contact sheets, six ink color with inkjet photo ink and up to 24 x 8.5 prints. There are also wired and wireless network options etc but I have not used them.” – by David A. Riley
