Fujifilm XF1 Reviews

Photographyblog reviews the Fujifilm XF1 and writes;
“Although not quite on a par with the X10 and X100, the XF1’s build quality is very good, and the image quality from the large 2/3-inch CMOS sensor is markedly better than virtually all other compacts. Noise is noticeable only by its almost complete absence from ISO 100-800, with the faster full-resolution settings of 1600 and 3200 also being very usable.”

Pocket-lint reviews the Fujifilm XF1 and writes;
“The collapsible lens is a fun and functional feature that works well and we love having a more traditional hands-on manual zoom lens to whizz between focal lengths. But its this design which means the maximum aperture – which is an impressive f/1.8 at the 25mm wide-angle setting – dips down to an f/4.9 maximum at the 100mm equivalent.”

Techradar reviews the Fujifilm XF1 and writes;
“like the Fuji X-E1 – announced a couple of weeks ago – we feel pretty confident in saying that the Fuji X-F1 will be a good performer… The fact that it also manages to pack in full manual control, raw format shooting and a 4x f/1.8 optical zoom lens is a little astonishing,”

Photoreview reviews the Fujifilm XF1 and writes;
“Video quality was similar to X10’s, with best-looking clips recorded at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Differences between full HD and 720p HD recordings were barely noticeable when played on a TV screen, although there was a clear drop in quality with VGA resolution.”

CNET reviews the Fujifilm XF1 and writes;
“Despite its retro stylish retro, the camera did not impress us with its average low-light performance and fiddly/complicated On/Off switch design. However, the XF1 offers a good feature set, decent shooting performance and it produces color-accurate images.”
