Fujifilm FinePix E900 Zoom – Review @ DigitalCameraInfo

Patrick Singleton has posted his review on Fujifilm FinePix E900, 9 Megapixels SuperCCD digital camera with 4x optical zoom and 2″ TFT LCD screen, and writes:

fujifilm-e900

“The FinePix E900 is a very solid compact camera, with unusually high resolution, good color and image quality, good manual controls and a well-crafted interface. It’s a sensible upgrade from standard compact cameras for users who want to use manual controls, either to learn how to use them, or because they want to actively shape their images.”

The pros and cons are:

“Likes: Manual exposure controls are complete and convenient, Image quality is very good, Resolution approaches DSLRs, Hand grip is comfortable and secure, 32mm equivalent is pretty wide-angle for a compact camera, 9 megapixel files are plenty big and extremely sharp

Dislikes: LCD has minimal resolution, Manual focus is not effective, Movie mode is spoiled by focus motor noise, Viewfinder is inconvenient, Older Fujis have higher maximum ISO ”
