The Fuji FinePix S6800 is equipped with a 16.2 megapixel 1/2.3″ Back-Side-Illuminated CMOS sensor which able to capture high images quality even in low light shooting situations. It has high speed performance that enables users get fast continuous shooting up to 8fps and an auto focusing speed of 0.3 second. While the Fujinon 30x optical zoom lens combines aspherical and ED elements to good effect for reduced aberration and superior image quality. There is Super-Macro Mode which lets you create Macro Photograph as close as 2cm from the lens.

This camera also able to record Full HD 1080i video at 60fps in the H.264 format. It enables you to playback your videos on an HDTV by connecting the camera via an HDMI connection. In addition, Photo shooting and Video Recording are supported by Powerful Optical Image Stabilization which ensures you get sharp images and blur free. There is 6 Scene SR AUTO (Scene Recognition Auto) which automatically apply one of six scene modes to your image to optimize camera settings according to your scene allowing you get the best result.
