Firmware Updates for Canon and Pentax
Both Canon and Pentax have announced the new firmware upgrades for their Digital SLR cameras. You can visit the Pentax support page to download the firmwares updates for PENTAX istDS (2.02), PENTAX istDS2 (1.02), PENTAX istDL (1.03), PENTAX istDL2 (1.02), PENTAX K100D (1.02), and PENTAX K110D (1.02).
As for Canon, the firmwares which will fix the phenomenon wherein the camera does not detect the capacity correctly when high-capacity recording media are initialized are available here (EOS-1D Mark II), here (EOS-1D Mark II N), and here (EOS-1Ds Mark II)
