Epson WorkForce 600 Reviews

Gadgetgrid reviews the Epson WorkForce 600 and writes;
“This printer retails for under $200 ($160 at some places). At this price point given the number of features that it ships with, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it performed. It has a small footprint and well designed product that is easy enough for the non techies in the house to use and even set up. Having all the features you need and delivering to a high standard, it is nice to see that Epson has a strong competitor in the marketplace.”

PCMag reviews the Epson WorkForce 600 and writes;
“Photo quality is also above par, which means better than you would expect from your local drugstore. It’s a small step below the top tier, however, even excluding printers meant for professional photographers. The Canon MP620, for example, offers a touch better photo quality overall. That said, every photo on my tests qualified as true photo quality, suitable for framing. And the WorkForce 600 handles black-and-white photos better than the MP620, with virtually no tint.”
Rating: ★★★½☆ reviews the Epson WorkForce 600 and writes;
“One fun test was to see if the photo prints were as waterproof as Epson claims. I printed a 4×6 test picture (which, for some reason, took nearly four minutes to print at normal quality) and it came out dry, as advertised. I then ran the photo under water, and there was no smudging. Careful how you dry that water, though; I wiped it off with a tissue, which put some big scratches across the photo.”

Computershopper reviews the Epson WorkForce 600 and writes;
“Scanning, copying, and printing are fast and convenient. A single text page scanned in 13.8 seconds, and a 4×6-inch photo in 1 minute and 22 seconds. Printing is even faster. Our 10-page text-and-graphics document printed in draft mode in 40.69 seconds, with quality text mode taking a blazing 4 minutes and 21 seconds. A 20-page text-only document printed in 1 minute and 15 seconds in draft mode and 1 minute and 36 seconds in quality mode. A 4×6-inch photo took a respectable 49.52 seconds.”

Printercomparison reviews the Epson WorkForce 600 and writes;
“Overall the Epson WorkForce 600 all-in-one inkjet printer is an exceptional value that exemplifies what we like to see in a printer. First and foremost, the print quality is fantastic. Likewise, the native scanner/copier resolution is excellent, the fax machine works as advertised, and this machine is amazingly easy to setup and use. Although you might be able to find an all-in-one inkjet printer for less money, you’ll have a hard time finding one that offers a better all-around value than the WorkForce 600.”

Macworld reviews the Epson WorkForce 600 and writes;
“The WorkForce 600 is one of the fastest ink-jet printers out there, producing quality photo printing and scanning. While its copying capabilities are only decent and the overall print quality does not challenge the best ink-jets, it’s still a solid all-around printer that isn’t an eyesore, either.”

PCWorld reviews the Epson WorkForce 600 and writes;
“the WorkForce 600 does produce strong color prints. We determined that the fine lines, gradients, Photoshop image quality, and text quality are all of Very Good quality. We did find that images had an annoying amount of glare that was distracting to our jurors.”

Testfreaks reviews the Epson WorkForce 600 and writes;
“Regular pictures printed very nice as well using photo paper, they look just like something you would get at a photo lab, my wife was very impressed by them, and it takes a bit to impress her… she still uses a film camera and send her pictures out to be developed because she doesn’t like how the pictures look when they are printed at home with our other ‘photo printers’, but with the Epson she was impressed by the quality of the pictures. “

Workforce 600 review
“I have just purchased this printer. The packaging was excellent and it arrived safely. The set up (wireless) was straight forward with no complications for someone like me who is not familiar with networks. Print quality seems good and the features are extraordinary for the discounted price. “ – by Dennis Cooper

Easy to use!
“After a bad experience (poor quality, slow, noisy) with a Kodak, an expensive experience (the replacement cartridges were draining the money supply) with an HP, we finally got what we wanted with this Epson. Fast, easy to setup, works with and without the PC, separate color cartridges so you don’t waste unused ink. Our only minor gripe is the rather strange Arcsoft software applications that came with it. “ – by David Lamphere

Feature-packed printer seems to live up to hype
“The black and white printing speed is amazing–including b&w copies. I copied a full-color magazine ad and was very impressed with the quality, including color rendition. The front panel is intuitive–my teenager needed a copy before I had a chance to lecture about the new printer. She just walked up and made a copy. “ – by Alastair Dallas

great printer
“I hesitated to buy it at first because I’m used to HP printers with the “black” and “color” cartridges. This one has separate cartridges for each color. The price was right, so I went ahead and bought it, and now I couldn’t be happier with the decision.. The very first thing we noticed was how fast this thing prints. Wow! It was also very easy to set up and network with three XP machines. The print quality is beautiful and the fax is easy to use. “ – by Jeneanne Paden

great printer
“This really is a great printer, copy, scanner. I didnt give it 5 stars because it eats and breathes ink. And if one color runs out, you cannot print at all, not even black and white. Still the print quality is fantastic. It prints and scans quickly. The wireless is great. DH hooked it up to both imac and several laptops and a pc desktop in the house.” – by Mom to 3 J’s

Fantastic, Fast, Featureful All-In-One!
“Copying: Not much to say except that the copy process is very fast using the document feeder. Just set the number of copies you want and the WorkForce does the rest either in color or black and white. The copier has the lift-up top for centering documents/pictures on the copy glass. I want to say again that I am impressed with the Epson ink – the colors are bright and the ink withstands a yellow highlighter without smudging or smearing.” – by M. Whitley

Best Noisy Printer EVER
“This is hands-down the best printer I’ve ever owned. I buy printers often because they are cheap (ink is where they get you). I generally purchased HP in the past, but also recently tried a Kodak printer which crapped out on me. I’ve been using this Epson WorkForce 600 now for six months and I can honestly say it’s the best printer I’ve had. I have listed the two cons I have found below. Everything else about the printer is great. It prints VERY fast, which is great for me because I tend to print approximately 200 pages a day.” – by W. Cole

Epson Workforce 600
“Very pleased! Easy set up. Reasonably quiet. Loads of features. For example, draft mode (not greatest print quality in draft mode) really saves on ink. I am an average home business user, and we are still on the original ink cartridges. Very economical to use. Works just as it’s supposed to. “ – by J. Piccione
