TrustedReviews have reviewed the Epson Stylus Photo R380 where they rate the printer 7/10 and write;
“At the price, this is a photo printer which produces good photographic images. Occasional text and graphics print is also reasonable, though the Stylus Photo R360 is no tearaway. The large LCD display is a distinct bonus when selecting and modifying images directly from a memory card.”

CNET have reviewed the Epson Stylus Photo R380 where they rate the printer 7.3/10 and write;
“The good: Tons of features, including CD/DVD printing and the ability to print stills from digital video; great print quality; fast 4×6 photo prints; includes PictBridge port and memory card slots; individual ink tanks. The bad: Limited paper-handling options; phone support is not toll-free and support hours are limited; text printing could be improved. The bottom line: The Epson Stylus Photo R380 offers a wealth of fun features and great print quality, making it a smart choice for amateur photo hobbyists. “

CompUSA has user reviews of the Epson Stylus Photo R380 ;
“‘I’ve been using Epson for many years. I bought the R380 because the R300 I had been using, finally gave up the ghost. I do a lot of printing for my business and the R380 is a great improvement over the R300. Inkjet cartridges are expensive as they are with every printer maker, but a Google search will find you a plethera of “compatible” cartridges for under $5 which work very well with every Epson printer I have ever used, in fact, I have NEVER purchased Epson original inkjet cartridges. This R380 printer is AWESOME and should be considered by anyone needing quality printing for personal or business use.”

PCWorld have reviewed the Epson Stylus Photo R380 where they rate the printer 72 and write;
“The printer produced photos and graphics quickly, while text straggled out at 3.9 pages per minute–slow compared to most competing printers’ text times. Photos printed on glossy paper looked smooth and natural, but on plain paper the same images looked washed-out and fuzzy. Meanwhile, text suffered from noticeable feathering and lightness.”

Hey,

If you’re looking for a new photo printer, Kodak actually just introduced a less expensive option (with cheaper ink cartridges). For more info, check out http://www.inkisit.com.

Hope it helps,

Shelly
