Epson Artisan 700 Reviews
Extrememhz reviews the Epson Artisan 700 and writes;
“In regards to overall print performance, there’s very little to dislike and for the most part, will not disappoint. It’s print speeds may honestly be a bit far fetched, but the print quality is above average. From everyday printing to high quality photo prints, the results were highly impressive for a printer in this class….”
Justechn reviews the Epson Artisan 700 and writes;
“The photos that printed are fantastic. As you can see from the images below. I printed off several photos from different printers to compared the quality of each. I printed photos from the Artisan 700 and the R280, both printers from Epson. The first picture is the original from my camera, the second one is from the R280 and the third one is from the Artisan 700. As you can clearly see for yourself they are very similar, but in my opinion the Artisan 700 does a slightly better job…”
Epson Artisan 700 User Reviews
Epson Artisan 700
“I really like the printer’s sleek style. It looks great in my home office and fits nicely. It’s not too bulky or heavy, so I can move it easily if needed. I haven’t figured out how to print photos very well, but hopefully this is due to my lack of knowledge about the print settings and how to set up the various paper trays. This is my first printer, so I am still learning! As for simple documents, the printer is very fast and the prints come out crisp and clean. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend the Epson Artisan 700 to any Photoshop, iPhoto, or InDesign user or simple artistic person on a Mac/PC computer. “ – by Natalie A. Olson
Epson Artisan 700 is Brilliant!
“Set up was easy following the directions. Photo reproduction is wonderful! Much faster than I ever anticipated. I had read complaints about ink useage but I haven’t found it out of line. Having received the printer around Christmas, we’ve printed plenty and are still on the original cartridges. The dual paper tray is a great feature (letter/legal size and photo sizes). “ – by R. Monroe
“I received this printer back in December. So far it’s not a bad printer at all. It prints CD’s very nicely.The one problem that I do have with it is when I use my glossy paper the black doesn’t seem to come out too good. The matte psper works great though. It comes with all the inks and has another black cartridge that is high density. I’ve checked out the Epson website and to get all high density cartridges will cost almost $100. Overall, this printer works good for what I use it for. “ – by Michelle Lathberry
“I’ve had this printer for about three weeks now and have been very pleased with its performance. I’m a semi-professional photographer, so I only this printer for CD/DVD printing and text. But I am very happy with the prints that it produces. I have been using Epson printers for the past eight or nine years, so I’m well aware that they consume ink very quickly.” – by Brian Penn
First Epson – Very Happy!
“I will tell you there is a photo paper called Ilford Galerie that works extremely well with this printer and makes absolutely beautiful prints (Click on “See All My Reviews” to read more on this). It comes out of the printer apparently smudge proof (I didn’t try it with wet fingers or water) and is bright and vibrant. Depending on where you buy it, it can be a little as 1/3 the cost of Epson Ultra Premium photo paper and looks equally good (my Baccalaureate degree is in Art/Photography).” – by S. Law
“The print quality on the discs is vastly superior too and it prints in about 20 seconds once it’s up to speed, whereas the R300 used to take about three minutes – massive time saving for us. I also noticed that the network print speed is much improved with the print being near instantaneous as though the printer was connected directly to the specific computer that is currently printing. Fantastic…” – by Vynny
Good value, attractive All-in-One
“The Epson Artisan 700 would be worth the price as a small-format photo printer alone, but it also is quite satisfactory for general-purpose printing, as well as scanning and copying….” – by Eric
Excellent printer uses too much ink (too expensive)
“I ordered the Epson Artisan 700 mainly because it prints on CDs and DVDs. It does this very well, better than the HP 5280 which I have used for about two years (and which is practically defunct). The Epson Artisan 700 also has done all other printing tasks very well, with excellent quality in printing photos and text. I am pleased with this purchase, although I was disappointed that the printer uses so much expensive ink.” – by Vernal E. Richardson
