I couldn't disagree more. Picajet absolutely infuriates me by crashing whenever I go within 4 feet of the keyboard. What's worse the authors give no support whatsoever - calls for help are simply ignored - whereas the service with idimager is nothing short of astonishing. After months of this I gave up in disgust.

Picajet's functionality is ok but basic. By contrast idimager v3 (v4 is in beta) is far more stable and its functionality is also vastly greater - though this means a bigger learning curve and Picajet's simplicity may well suit some better - depends on your needs.

This is the best image organization software I know. Its interface is user-friendly and stable, simple and intuitive. Even on my rather out-dated PC it runs amazingly quick. While its competitor IDimager still has better image tagging capabilities, it's rather unstable and the interface is a mess. It's still unclear when the next maor release will come out, but PicaJet 3 will also support complex searches (AND, OR, NOT). Much worth a look -- and hey -- it's free! :-)
