Domke ballistic nylon products are universally excellent
“This is a great compromise of a bag. Enough room for a camera body and several lenses yet you won’t stick out like a tourist when carrying it. Get the domke postal shoulder pad to make the load feel lighter and improve the adherence of the strap to your shoulder. “ – By Henri Cartier Bresson

Amazed at how much I can put in it
“While looking for a bag, I came across the Domke F-3X. I already have the F2 as a gift and liked it for the amount I can put in it, and it is no different from the F-3X. Bags like Lowepro have a lot more padding, but for simple shoots or walkarounds, the F-3X is perfect! You can put in the bag a camera body + 3 lenses (including the 80-200 f/2.8 lens but not mounted on the camera). The 2 side pockets are very useful, and it can fit a speedlight in it. It also has the zipper compartment on the bag flap and a back slot to put a notebook.” – By Gerald Khoo

My favorite bag
“I have a Lowpro, and a temba messenger bag, and this domke. When just prowling around and I want to travel ‘light’ I can fit three lenses and one camera body in this bad, along with a few small accessories (batteries, collapsible lens hoods). I think I have room for a flash unit (in one of the side pockets). I used a sharpie marker to color in the red domke names on the side pockets. In most cases, if I want to travel light, this is the bag for me. “ – By K. Balagot

A real super compact
“Its a bag i am looking for for a long time. I am a Canon user, owning a 40D and 400D, a couple of lens. I own a couple of camera bags as well. From Lowepro, tarmac, to bagman etc. Of course each had its own usage for different job and needs. Recently i am trying to find a bag which can fit 2 DSLR, 2-3lens, 2EX580II and some additional stuff like CF Cards, and Batteries. When i receive my bag, wao it does looks small but due to the fatter design in the main compartment, it can even fit 2 DSLR with lens mounted, 1 70-200 F2.8 unmounted and 85mm unmounted. That is alot of equiptment in 1 small bag.” – By Kwek Ke Yuan

The perfect little bag (almost)
“The compromise here is just in the padding. Not much – or really, any. So what! It holds my D300 with a 16-85 in the back section of the main compartment, a Sigma 10-20 and Nikon 35/1.8 in the front section, an SB-800 and a 70-300VR in the two side sections. Plus the two side pockets hold filters, memory cards, batteries, ect. There’s also a smallish front pocket for my manuals and assorted other things and an uncovered back pocket for small flat items. Plus a zippered but small compartment in the lid. Very nice!” – By A. Swanson

Great Camera Bag
“I bought this bag after I got a new camera, a Nikon D90 with the 18-200 Nikkor zoom lens. Besides that setup and a few small knick-knacks, I don’t have any other lenses or a flashes at this point to fill the bag to the rim, so I might have gotten away with an even smaller one. But I do like the fact that, besides the camera with the lens hood on, it’s big enough to also hold my wallet, phone, keys, a water bottle and a couple of toys and necessities for my son. This way everything is in one place and I don’t have to carry another bag.” – By pirate72
