Digital Spectrum MF-575 Digital Picture Frame User Reviews
Excellent for the $$
“LOVE this. I have been playing with it all night and have no problem whatsoever figuring out how to get it going (despite the flimsy manual). The pic quality is great. You do need good pics to begin with. Highly recommend it! I know my parents will love it!” – By J. Stanicki
Very Nice! Simple to use
“We bought this at the $110 price. Now that the price has been raised, you will want to compare its resolution with other frames in the $200 range. But for the price we paid, we are very pleased with this frame. It is so simple to use. Just insert the memory card; plug it in; turn it on; press ‘enter’; and enjoy the show!” – By John
“The image quality of my scans and digital photos looked very nice and I found it quite simple to load the frame up with 100+ photo memories into the memory (it also takes the various memory cards); comes with a tiny remote that conveniently slips into a slot, although I did not try the remote. I put mp3s on it to play in the background of the slideshow and they played fine.” – By Larkhall
Great frame for the office
“I got this as a gift. Having limited space on my desk to display photos, this frame allows me to display all the photos and mpeg’s I like. The pictures are clear and crisp. The sound is a little tinny but the mpegs run great.” – By R. Worth
Easy to load and use
“Got this for my wife, who is not a big computer fan, but who IS running out of desk space for her favorite photos. Was surprised to see not only the wall wart (for AC power) but also a USB card reader adapter and a USB cable, for interconnection to a PC. I loaded a 16MB SD card on my PC, after shrinking the jpg images to about 100K each, and it fired right up. I had to read the instructions to get the slide show to play, but everything else was fairly intuitive for a non-serious computer user like me. If you can use a USB flash drive you can use this…” – By ER Andromeda
A Great Gift
“I bought mine as a gift for my parents. They are going to love it. Initially the pictures do not seem to be as clear as expected, mostly because I am used to veiwing the pictures on a nice flat panel monitor, but they look just fine. It is perfect for a gift for Grandparents, as long as you set it up prior to giving. Very good value for $99! I would also suggest purchasing a memory card (I got a 512M for $15, holds hundreds of pics) Another thing that also sold me was the fact that the wooden frame is interchangeable with any 5×7 frame. Again, great value! “ – By L. K. Harris “Pappaw H”
Just What I was looking for
“I love cool gadgets and this one is inexpensive, easy to use and the picture quality is great. I put cell phone pictures, digital camara pics and a music CD on a SanDisk to check out its capabilities and I am truly impressed. I can play music… but volume controll is by menu and that’s not easily controlled as an external control would be but I was more interested in running a series of pics like vacation, family events, etc. Music and pics don’t work and I haven’t tried Music videos yet. I plan on buying a few more for family and may even use them for a corporate gift to customers. “ – By Terri “GadgetGirl”
Pretty good but could be better
“Over all I’d have to say this is a decent price for a decent gadget. I have many of the same nit-picks as the others. My biggest grip though, is the screen size. If I can buy a 19″ LCD for $150 online nowadays, this thing should be at least 5×7. Just my two cents…” – By dkoDesign “DKO”
A good manual is hard to find
“The 89.99 sale price was to good to pass up. The screen is brightly lit and the images appear to be pretty sharp. The menu is easy to understand and navigate. The wood frame that is packaged can be replaced with other frames and is easy to remove and looks good….” – By Bryan S. Moore “Zatanna67”
Good for pictures, not much else
“This frame is great for what I wanted it to do – play a picture slideshow. Ignore whatever else it says it does. It plays mp3s and you’d think that you can play music in the background while the slideshow is going, but you’d be wrong. Technically, you could do it, but the song starts skipping around – I guess there isn’t much processing power in the frame. In its defense, I didn’t expect it to have much…” – By K. M.
