By Mike Ross and crew. This was one of the largest art pieces on the playa this year. People were encouraged to actually climb up into the tanker sections once the piece was completed.

This is the tarsier, one of the smallest primates in the world, found only in the Philippines, on the island of Bohol in central Philippines and in Sarangani province on the island of Mindanao.

Atlantis STS-117 Launch Photos

“The exhaust trail shifting northward and towards us in the breeze. It was striking and cast some amazing shadows (the diagonal on the right). The scale is somewhat lost here - it was still >3 miles from us. Atlantis by this point was a very small point of light that everyone else was still watching, but I didn’t want to miss this image so I swapped lenses for a quick shot.”

Creating The Perfect Woman
Pierre Tourigny has collected some photos from hot or not website, sorted them by rank and used SquirlzMorph to create multi-morph composites from them. Here’s what he has to say about his project;
“What did I conclude about good looks from these virtual faces? First, morphs tend to be prettier than their sources because face asymmetries and skin blemishes average out. However, the low score images show that fat is not attractive. The high scores tend to have narrow faces. I will leave it to you to find more differences and to do a similar project for men.”
