The Association of Photographers announced to the photography students that the deadline of AOP Students photo competition is fast approaching. The AOP Students Photo Competition is the photography competition that annually showcases the best images from the next generation of photographers. It consists of four different categories: Lifestyle & Portraiture, Fashion & Beauty, Landscape, Interiors & Exteriors and Still Life, that can be followed by students photography. Rollei Launched Two New Digital Picture Frames
Hamburg, January 2012. Rollei has launched Two New Digital Picture Frames, they are the Designline 5130 and Designline 5160. Both models allows users to show HD videos with excellent colour rendition, high contrast and precise reproduction of details. The Rollei Designline 5130 offers a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and adds functions such as a clock and a calendar including a remote control and features a 13.3” LED panel. While the Designline 5160 has a 15.6” display with 1366×768 pixels and offers an automatic slideshow function with background music and ten different transition effects. Olympus Tough TG-320 Announced

Olympus has announced new compact cameras including the Olympus Tough TG-320 that offers Shockproof, waterproof and freezeproof with a worry-free guarantee in fantastic value for money. The camera has 14-Megapixel images sensor which lets you capture HD movies and still photos and equipped with a 28-102mm equivalent zoom lens and a hard glass lens barrier “for extra-tough lens protection”. Sigma Announced Two New Lens
January 10, 2012. Sigma has announced two new lens for Micro Four Thirds (MFT) and Sony NEX system users. The lens are Sigma 30mm f/2.8 EX DN and Sigma 19mm f/2.8 EX DN featuring a newly developed linear AF motor that moving the lens elements directly without the need for gears or the drive of other mechanical parts. The lens are comes with a Super Multi-Layer Coating which is able to reduce the flare and ghosting and provides sharp and high contrast images even at the maximum aperture. The price and and availability of these lens have yet to be announced.

They are the EX-ZS150, EX-ZS20, EX-ZS12, and EX-ZS6 which each camera offers a powerful zoom lenses and 16-megapixel sensors.
