SAN FRANCISCO, October. 4, 2006. - Virtual Moment, LLC announced today the expansion of the Spitfire Photo Pro image management system to include a flexible new store front for selling photos online. This new feature includes integration with a partner print lab to offer a wide range of professional quality prints and photo merchandise. In addition, photographers can choose to self-fulfill orders for added control over product offerings.

Canon Announces Media Storage M30 & M80
Canon today launches the portable devices, designed with EOS and other digital photographers in mind. The Canon Media Storage M30 and Canon Media Storage M80 devices feature a large ultra-bright 3.7” TFT screen with 160º viewing angle for image and video review, and a 30Gb/80Gb hard disk to store digital images, movie and sound files of various file formats. Both the Canon Media Storage M30 and Canon Media Storage M80 feature a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface and slots for CF and SD cards.

Sandisk Announces 16GB Extreme III CompactFlash
COLOGNE, GERMANY, Sep. 26, 2006 – SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) today introduced the 12- and 16-gigabyte (GB)[1] SanDisk Extreme® III CompactFlash® cards to its award-winning Extreme III performance line, making these the highest capacity cards in the world. The new high-performance, large-capacity cards are ideal for professional photographers who shoot RAW or high-resolution JPG files and need the performance, reliability and capacity to capture these large files. By continuously varying the angle of view, the lens takes a lot of the footwork out of picture composition. The very latest lens coating technology and lens design reduce flare and ghosting, a common problem with digital cameras. Two ELD glass elements in the front lens group reduce chromatic aberration to a minimum and also ensure high optimum image quality. The overall length of the lens does not change during focusing and zooming, ensuring convenient handling.
The HSM provides ultra quiet, high-speed autofocusing as well as full-time manual focus override. This lens is designed to accept a 46mm circular polarizing filter in a rear filter holder.
