Sony Introduces CyberShot T700 & T77
Sony has introduced the 10-megapixel CyberShot DSC-T700 & T77 to replace CyberShot DSC-T70 and T30. The T77 camera is Sony’s thinnest model at less than 5/8 of an inch with a 3-inch, 16 x 9 touch panel LCD screen. Both cameras feature updated intelligent scene recognition technology, Smile Shutter™ and face detection technologies with child and adult priority, as well as high sensitivity shooting (up to ISO 3200), eleven scene modes, and in-camera image management.

The T700 model earns extra points as it has 4GB of internal memory and a hi-resolution 3.5-inch wide touch panel and it will be available in red, pink, gold, silver, and gray while the DSC-T77 will be available in black, silver, green, pink, brown.
Both models will be on sale in Japan September 5th and most likely worldwide soon thereafter for US$400 (T700) and $300 (T77)

Epson Announces P6000 & P7000
Epson has announced their latest Multimedia Photo Viewer offering 80GB and 160GB of hard drive capacities. The P6000 and P7000 also feature Exclusive 4-inch Epson Photo Fine® Premia LCD which displays 16.7 million colors, up to 35% faster download speed than previous models, Audio/video output and it supports both JPEG and RAW files.

The P6000 & P7000 will be available in September 2008 and you’ll need to spend $599.99 for the P6000 (80GB) and $799.99 for the P7000 (160GB)

Tamron Announces AF18-270mm
Tamron has recently announced the development of ultra zoom lens – the Tamron AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO. This is the first digital SLR lens in the world features 15X (35mm equivalent: 28-419mm) zoom, VC (Vibration Compensation) technology, Zoom lock mechanism and it allows Minimum focusing distance of 19.3”.
