Vosonic has recently announced firmware update version 0A-1.2.3 for MODEL : VP6230/ VP6310 / VP6210 / VP6300

The update will:

- Add subtitle support in SRT format for video playback
- Add RAW support for Canon Digital Rebel XT, Canon EOS 5D, Minolta Maxxum 5D, FinePix

Ricoh has recently announced their new firmware upgrade for Caplio R3, 5.1 MP digital camera with 7.1x optical zoom. The new firmware will improve accuracy of the AF algorithm in the macro mode and improve accuracy of the vibration correction function.

This firmware update incorporates the following improvements:

- Fixes the phenomenon of shots being unable to be taken when using the remote controller RC-1.
- Fixes the phenomenon wherein the camera continues to scroll through images being played back.
- Improves reliability in communication when using some CF cards.

This firmware update applies to cameras with firmware versions up to 1.0.2 installed. By installing this update, the phenomena will be fixed, and the affected cameras can be used without these problems. If your camera’s firmware is already version 1.0.3, it is not necessary to perform this update.

Nikon has just updated the Nikon Capture 4.3.1 to version 4.3.2
The new updated software will solve a problem of Nikon capture Editor to quit unexpectedly with some computer systems when when images were adjusted using the Color Boost slider displayed by selecting Better Quality (HQ) in the D-Lighting palette.
