Olympus E-500 – Review @ LetsGoDigital
Let’sGoDigital has recently posted a review on Olympus Evolt E-500, an entry level Digital SLR camera with 8.2 Megapixels, a 2.5″ LCD Screen, and SSWF anti-dust reduction system.

“Whereas the E-300 still received some comments as far as image quality was concerned, the Olympus E-500 has truly grown. A resolution of 8 Megapixels offers more than enough for most photographers. In addition, it should be said that they are beautiful and very useable pixels. Digital noise pretty much only plays a part at ISO 1600; even ISO 800 still perfectly suffices, an area where Olympus had failed me in the past. Credit where credit be due! Olympus deserve even more credit in fact, for their simple solution to create your own white balance. This is truly as easy as it gets! When working in artificial light it I would definitely recommend making your own white balance, especially when taking photos in JPEG. The colour reproduction is of good quality, as is the sharpness of the standard Zuiko Digital lens. “

Kodak EasyShare V570 – Review @ SteveDigicams
Steve Digicams has recently posted a review on Kodak EasyShare V570, a world’s first dual-lens digital camera with 5 megapixel CCD and 2.5-inch LCD Screen.

“I was happy with the V570′s image quality. Outdoor shots were consistently well-exposed and richly saturated, and auto white balance reproduced colors accurately. The V570′s images were essentially noise free at sensitivity settings of ISO 64 and 100. At ISO 200, noise is present in shadow areas, and at ISO 400 noise is evident throughout the image. A sensitivity setting of ISO 800 is also available, although image resolution is limited to 1.8-megapixels and the noise level is fairly high; none the less, ISO 800 will produce usable images when shooting conditions require it. “

Nikon D200 – Review @ WashingtonPost
Tracey Capen has posted a quick review on Nikon D200, the latest DSLR camera with a 10.2 megapixel CCD sensor, 5 frames per second with bursts up to 37 JPEGs (Fine-Large) or 22 NEF (RAW) images and a large 2.5″ LCD screen, at Washington Post and writes

“As you’d expect with a 10.2-megapixel CCD, the images I shot with the D200 looked sharp, living up to my high expectations. In lab testing, the D200 earned very high marks for the absence of distortion in its images. Color and exposure accuracy were less impressive. Like many digital SLRs, the D200 tends to underexpose slightly in auto-exposure settings.”

FujiFilm FinePix F11 – Review @ DCViews
DCViews has recently posted a review (with sample photos) on FujiFilm FinePix F11, a 6 megapixels with 3x optical zoom lens ( 36 to 108mm equivalent) and 2.5 inch LCD screen.

“Colour rendition is excellent with clean natural looking colours which can be beefed up a bit by using the Chrome setting in the Fujifilm Finephoto mode. Exposure was generally OK although sometimes the camera would expose a bit too much for the shadow areas leading to some overexposure of the highlights.
The Finepix F11 is a fairly compact and durable camera. With the exception of the plastic battery door and tripod mount it is entirely made of metal. Usability is excellent with nice positive controls that are easy to operate. While the camera can be used by the whole family as an easy to use point and shoot, the true enthusiast will still find enough advanced features to satisfy his or her creativity.”

Olympus E-500 – Review @ CameraLabs
Gordon Liang has reviewed the Olympus E-500, an entry level Digital SLR camera with 8.2 Megapixels, a 2.5″ LCD Screen, and the legendary SSWF anti-dust reduction system. In conclusion they write:

“The Olympus E-500 is a mixed bag with plenty of things going for it, but equally a number of aspects which could be considered deal-breakers by some photographers. Highlights of course include the SSWF anti-dust system, an impressively high level of information and control for a budget body, along with an increasing number of high quality lenses – check back in the future for full reviews of four Zuiko Digital models including the impressive 7-14mm ultra wide angle zoom.
On the downside though, the anti-dust process imposes a serious delay every time the camera powers up, the motorised manual focusing (and lack of anti-shake options) could seriously infuriate some photographers, the lack of detail when zooming during playback is disappointing, while the view through the viewfinder has to be one of the smallest from any digital SLR; it’s also a missed opportunity not to automatically switch off the monitor when you go to compose a shot”

Nikon Coolpix L1 – Review @ Megapixel
Megapixel has posted their reviewed on Nikon Coolpix L1, a 6.0-megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom, a large 2.5-inch LCD. They write:

On the optics side, the Coolpix L1′s 5X zoom, more powerful than what is usually seen on a compact camera of this type, provides a reach that can be very useful. At the widest angle images tend to be a touch soft-focus, particularly when the camera has used the widest aperture. And, since the camera tends to maximize the aperture to prevent camera shake, the widest aperture is generally what is used. The rest of the focal length range of the zoom is tack sharp, and be it at the wide angle end or at the telephoto end, distortion is invisible.
