Casio Exilim EX-Z850 – Review @ CamerasUK
CamerasUK have posted a review of the Casio Exilim EX-Z850, an 8.1 megapixels (CCD sensor) point-and-shoot digital camera featuring 3x Optical Zoom lens (35 – 210mm equivalent) with anti-shake technology, and a 2.5″LCD screen.

“…outdoor scenic shots the images are sharply focused compared to most rival digital cameras without quite matching the very best. In the main focusing also stays sharp towards the edges of the photos. Another area where the Exilim EX-Z850 is able to outperform many of its rivals is in its ability to bring out detail in both light and dark areas…The indoor portrait also works very well. Some digital cameras experience difficulty focusing for this shot as the light is not perfect. The Exilim EX-Z850 produces a very sharp and clear photo. The other important test in this shot is the level of red eye. This camera manages to control the level of red eye well.”

Casio EXILIM EX-Z1000 – Review @ HardwareZone
HardwareZone’s Daniel Lim has published a review of the Casio EXILIM EX-Z1000, the world’s first 10.1 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera featuring a 3x optical zoom, and a 2.8-inch LCD screen.

“On the whole, we were very impressed with the level of details and color reproduction shown by the new Casio EX-Z1000. In most cases, images came out very well, especially so for night shots. As for day pictures, color reproduction was slightly warmer, which may or may not suit the preference of everyone. “

Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z60 – Review @ CNET
CNET have currently published a review of the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z60, a point-and-shoot digital camera (released on 21.02.06), featuring a 6.0 megapixels (CCD sensor) with 3x Optical Zoom lens (35 – 210mm equivalent), and a 2.5″LCD screen.

“You can’t avoid soft, noisy, overprocessed photos, though. The colors aren’t bad, but in shots taken using ISO 50 at the highest-quality setting, you can see halos around edges and a whitish stippling. The Exilim EX-Z60 also clips highlights, producing large, flat white areas in outdoor shots. It’s hard to tell if red-eye reduction works; the lens’s chronic chromatic aberration results in a blown-out catch light in people’s eyes with purple fringing that overwhelms any red. “

“The camera is equipped with many innovative functions, is economical with its energy, shows an excellent image quality, and is packaged in a high-quality stainless steel housing. Casio Exilim EX-S600 – Review @ ePhotozine
Casio Exilim EX-S600 has been reviewed by Ken Rockwell. Casio Exilim EX-S600 is a 6.0 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera with 3x optical zoom (31-93mm) and 2.2 inch screen.

“PROS:It’s tiny, Comprehensive set of ‘Best Shot’ scene modes, Build quality
Good control layout. CONS: Poor LCD screen, Less than stunning image quality. VERDICT: The diminutive proportions of the Casio Exilim EX-S600 make this very appealling as a camera to just slip into your pocket, and logic dictates that photographers looking for this kind of camera wouldn’t appreciate the inclusion of advanced photographic features. “

Casio Exilim EX-S600 – Review @ Steve’sDigicams
Casio Exilim EX-S600 has been reviewed at Steve’sDigicams. Casio Exilim EX-S600 is a 6.0 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera with 3x optical zoom (31-93mm) and 2.2 inch screen.

“Image quality was excellent for a consumer 6-megapxiel camera. We used the highest quality setting, 6M Fine, and were very pleased with our results. Outdoors it captures images that are sharp and well exposed. Colors are richly saturated, and you can even adjust the saturation as well as sharpness and contrast via the Record Menu..Bottom line – The Exilim EX-S600 wears the Casio name proudly, continuing the tradition of a durable, lightweight model that can be tucked away just about anywhere, while still capturing great photos and offering outstanding performance. Not to mention, there are loads of user-friendly exposure modes. With an MSRP of around $399, we feel it offers a good value, and is sure to please the family, business or tourist user.”
