Casio EXILIM EX-Z1000 - Review @ DigitalCameraReview
DigitalCameraReview has published a review of the Casio EXILIM EX-Z1000, the world’s first 10.1 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera featuring a 3x optical zoom and a 2.8-inch LCD screen.

“As far as image quality, the Z1000 has some good and some not so good. I was not impressed with image results on indoor shots. The biggest culprit was noise. Even at low sensitivities, the flash is not intense enough to handle even a smallish room. “

Casio EXILIM EX-Z1000 - Review @ Steve’sDigicams
Steve’sDigicams have published a review of the Casio EXILIM EX-Z1000, the world’s first 10.1 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera featuring a 3x optical zoom, and a 2.8-inch LCD screen. They write;

“The overall image quality of its 10m Fine images was very good. The majority of our outdoor samples are sharp with pleasing color saturation and exposure. I did notice a bit of edge softness, but this is a very common issue with consumer models…With robust performance, great image quality, and loads of easy to use exposure modes, this model will make a great choice for anyone in the market for an “ultra-compact” consumer model. “

Casio Exilim EX-Z850 - Review @ Steve’sDigicams
Steve’sDigicams have published a review of the Casio Exilim EX-Z850, an 8.1 megapixels (CCD sensor) point-and-shoot digital camera featuring 3x Optical Zoom lens (35 - 210mm equivalent) with anti-shake technology, and a 2.5″LCD screen.

“The EX-Z850’s 8m Fine images are excellent. Every single shot we took was in sharp focus and the exposure system did well in a variety of different lighting situations. Colors are pleasing for a consumer model, and the white balance system seemed to produce accurate color temperature almost every time. The only time I saw any problems was when there was a fingerprint on the lens. This will cause your pictures to have a “haze” to them as well as looking a bit on the soft side.Bottom line - Casio’s EXilim EX-Z850 will make a great choice for anyone who wants or needs an “ultra- compact” model with loads of useful scene modes, 8-megapixels of resolution, and robust performance, all for a reasonable price. “

Casio EXILIM EX-Z1000 - Review @ CNET Asia
CNET’s Damian Koh has published a review of the Casio EXILIM EX-Z1000, the world’s first 10.1 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera featuring a 3x optical zoom and a 2.8-inch LCD screen.

“It took only 1.6 seconds to power up this Exilim and shutting it down is just as fast. We clocked the time-to-first-shot at 2 seconds and managed to shoot thereafter every 2.1 seconds without flash. With forced flash, shot-to-shot timings faltered to 4.9 seconds; with red-eye reduction, it was every 5.4 seconds. Shutter lag was close to negligible during our tests. Image quality was generally good and, in fact, better than what we had expected. Chromatic aberration was kept to a minimal though we did lose some details in the highlights. We selected automatic white balance for most of our shots and it was able to detect and produce neutral tones in our images.”

Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z60 - Review @ DigitalTrends
DigitalTrends has currently published a review of the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z60, a point-and-shoot digital camera (released on 21.02.06), featuring a 6.0 megapixels (CCD sensor) with 3x Optical Zoom lens (35 - 210mm equivalent), and a 2.5″LCD screen.

“This is a stellar digital camera for only $249. You will be hard pressed to find something of this quality in the same price range. Photos taken at low resolutions look great, and become stunning when they approach the 6-megapixel mark. You can capture movies for fun if you want, but don’t expect anything to come out worth editing. Just use the movie-capture function for fun at a picnic or family outing.”
