Canon Selphy DS810 - Review @ PrinterSpot
PrinterSpot’s Marc Frochtzweig has posted a review of the Canon Selphy DS810, a three-colors compact inkjet photo printer with wireless support, PictBridge, memory card slots, and a 2.5″ LCD Screen.

“With only three inks, the DS810 produces good images compared with printers in its class but won’t match output from most other printers with more inks. Overall the DS810 is a decent compact inkjet printer, though models offered by other manufacturers can produce the same quality prints for less money. It’s also worth looking at compact dye-sub models (like Canon’s CP710), which have better-looking — and cheaper — prints.”

Canon iP6220D - Review @ ITReviewsUK
ITReviewsUK has posted a review of the Canon iP6220D, a twin cartridge inkjet printer with USB 2.0 port, PictBridge, Memory Card Slot, Infrared receiver and 2.5″ LCD Screen.

“Print speed is very acceptable, taking 2 minutes and 45 seconds to print an A4 borderless photo and one minute 13 seconds to print a 6 x 4-inch borderless photo. The print quality met the usual high standard that we expect from Canon. The build quality is a bit flimsy and the front cover and card reader flaps can smack into each other if you’re not careful, but when you consider the features, speed and price that’s a minor problem.”

Think Tank Photo Airport Security
Ellis Vener has posted a new review of the Think Tank Photo Airport Security at PPMag.com where he writes;

“My overall impression of both the Airport Security Roller and the Pro Modulus system is that they fully live up to Think Tank’s credo of “designing highly functional bags for photographers (to support them) in doing their jobs.” Much of the credit for this is that the designers listen directly to working photographers, and that two of the four principals in the company are working photojournalists themselves.”

Samsung SyncMaster 244T (214T) - Review @ Shutterbug
Shutterbug’s David B. Brooks has recently published a review of the Samsung SyncMaster 244T (214T), a huge 24″ analog/digital LCD display with 1920×1200 pixels (1600×1200 pixels) native resolution, and a blazing 6ms response time.

“On the basis of my experience, the 244T, and by extension its slightly smaller relative, the 214T, have to be among the best LCDs for photographic computing of any displays offered at a competitive price. Frankly, that doesn’t leave many brands left to try. The Samsung SyncMaster 244T I worked with is a solid, finely-crafted product that reproduces photographic images with a beautiful richness of color. It also provides the means to adjust the image attributes to individual perception that allows for a close match to what you would expect from the image on screen.”
