Casio Exilim EX-Z80 Reviews

PCWorld reviews the Casio Exilim EX-Z80 and writes;
“this Exilim doesn’t have crystal-clear optics. Though color was very good and easy to alter… the EX-Z80 starts out at a low ISO of 64, and in brightly lit environments–especially outdoors–it did just fine. For an inexpensive pocket camera, it delivers a slew of worthwhile features.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

PCMag reviews the Casio Exilim EX-Z80 and writes;
“In lab tests, the EX-Z80 had an excellent boot-up time of 2.11 seconds. Recycle time (2.84) was good, and shutter lag (0.45 seconds) average… The Casio Exilim EX-Z80 is a snazzy yet affordable camera with a great set of scene modes for folks who aren’t too picky about image quality.”
Rating: ★★½☆☆

CamerasUK reviews the Casio Exilim EX-Z80 and writes;
“Small, lightweight and relatively inexpensive. It would be too much to ask for the Exilim EX-Z80 to offer top drawer photo quality, but the camera can take a decent snapshot in most situations. It also scores well for ease of use. ”

Steve’sDigicams reviews the Casio Exilim EX-Z80 and writes;
“This is a high quality video compression that greatly reduces file size while keeping a high level of quality. The videos run very smoothly with no compression artifacting when shooting in UHQ quality..The Casio Exilim EX-Z80 is a stylish and incredibly easy to use, we consider this a good buy.”

DCR reviews the Casio Exilim EX-Z80 and writes;
“The camera breaks no new ground in its class – the lens focal range is average, as is ISO sensitivity performance. Shutter performance is good, but not spectacular. Image and color quality are good, and the EX-Z80 does stand out somewhat from the pack in affording the user a nice palette of image quality adjustments when shooting in auto mode.”
Rating: N/A

TrustedReviews reviews the Casio Exilim EX-Z80 and writes;
“Design, build quality, performance and handling are all very good, and the AF system is amazing, but these attributes are somewhat let down by rather sub-standard image quality. Nonetheless, as a convenient pocket snapshot camera it’s hard to beat, and represents good value for its low price.”
