Great fun and well worth the price!
” The pre-set Underwater mode worked great, as did Manual and Digital macro modes using custom white balance (which requires some playing around with to work optimally). Typically, I would switch between the Underwater scene mode, and then have the Digital Macro mode setup too. This way I could quickly switch between macro and non-macro shots just by moving the top slider one click left or right.” – By Gregory B. Garber
Best money I ever spent
” Well, I quickly became the envy of others on the trip because I could have my camera out the entire time taking pictures, while they had to hide theirs in the rapids. It helped make for some great video clips too! The case held up perfectly and it took a bit of a beating with the sun, sand, rocks and water. Not a single scratch or problem at all with my camera. With the memories this case saved, it is easily the best money I ever invested. “ – By M. Henning
excellent overall housing!
” Our underwater pictures and videos are clear and crisp! We took it to a dept of 50ft during our diving tour, no problems whatsoever (housing can handle depths of up to 130ft). The housing can take some abuse too during our wild jet-ski tour. There were many times that we decided to just keep the camera inside the housing because it protects the camera from dust, sand, scratches, bumps/rattles, etc. The camera can still capture great pictures on dry land. “ – By Mark Anthony L. Works as expected
” I found that pictures taken w/o the diffuser resulted in a dark corner when I tested the case on dry land…so, I kept the diffuser on at all times when using it underwater. I haven’t had a chance to looked through the hundreds of pics but what I saw so far was impressive. The case worked well with the camera and I’m impressed with the pictures so far. Looking forward to next time I get to use the camera & case again.” – By H. Lam Rating:
It keeps my camera dry
” I am very happy with this case. It seals very tightly, and as of yet no water has leaked in during my dives. It allows me access to the major controls of my camera underwater. I have only used it on a handful of dives so far, I will update this review (if possible) if something happens on future dives, to warrant changing how I feel about the case. “ – By Richard Sweet Jr.
Everything I could have hoped for
” I’ve used it snorkeling in Guam many times (never got a chance to scuba dive, but I would have taken it with me). I’ve also used it countless other times just to keep the camera safe. As long as you keep the housing’s lens wiped clean, and dry, pictures come out just fine.” – By jdliveit
Excellent Waterproof housing
” I bought this for a trip to Cancun last year. It withstood dirt, sand and saltwater during the trip and remained completely dry inside. Just make sure you put the silicon gel in order to keep the unit from fogging up inside. Also, rinse it in a tapwater bath after use. Overall, a great housing for a great camera. Definitely worth the extra investment. “ – By Kristine J. Victorino
Definitely worth it!
” I bought this for a recent trip to Aruba. I used it while snorkeling, while in the pool and just hanging out at the beach. I was a little nervous because if the case leaked I would be out a great camera, but it works like a charm! You can’t even tell that the picture was taken with the case on, except for the occasional water drop that might show up.
It’s also great to use while on the beach so that you can be sure sand doesn’t get into the lenses. “ – By R. Kim
