Why am I continuously having low exposure shots? (Actually from time to time, some are fine, but more often not.) I changed batteries. Have I an incorrect setting?

I have also had problems with this camera. I bought it in May to take on a trip with me, and the camera performed amazingly until I needed to change the batteries the first time. Then everything started going wrong. I replaced the batteries with high quality rechargables. The camera worked for about 5 minutes, then the battery light started to flash and the camera turned itself off. I have now tried every kind of battery on the market, to no avail. I have since googled the product + "low battery light" and discovered that I am not the only one. Canon obviously produced a batch with a defect - here's to hoping that I'll have more success getting it fixed than the other folks have.

The level of customer support provided by Canon is dreadful.

I've had numerous problems with the camera and am having to pay for repairs which are amounting to almost the cost of the camera (allowing for depreciation)

Avoid at all costs, unless you like wasting both time and money
