Canon Speedlite 270EX II Expert Reviews
The-digital-picture reviews the Canon Speedlite 270EX II and writes;
“The Canon Speedlite 270EX II Flash is a good choice when small size, light weight and low cost are priorities over features and power. With some its wireless remote capability and limited bounce functionality, the 270EX II can easily deliver better image quality than no flash or the built-in flash in some situations.”
Canon Speedlite 270EX II User Reviews
Great for a newbie
“I’m new to photography and wanted a good, not-too-expensive way to take well-lit photos in my fairly dark townhouse. This speedlite does the trick. It’s very easy to use with my EOS Rebel XS, and gives great light, especially when bounced off of the ceiling.” – By L.B. in DC
Lightweight for travel photography
“The flash is lightweight, small enough to fit your pants pocket. Thus, this is recommended for travel photography without encumbering yourself. Remote triggering works well. Excellent illumination at relatively shorter distances. The build is primarily plastic, but for me, as long as it works, plastic is ok.” – By Jojo Salcedo
Small Flash, Big Performance
“I received a Canon EOS 5 MarkII for my birthday. I love the camera.. On the occasions I’ve used it I have been more than satisfied with the results. I’m not a professional photographer, just a hobbyist. My subject matter is usually people and cars. I’ve had this unit for about a month and have been satisfied with all the photos I’ve taken using this flash.” – By B. Craig
“Don’t know why i waited so long to buy but it’s a must have flash the Canon 270EX II does what it’s design to do very well if you’re a person that wants to travel lite this one fit’s rite in your pocket don’t skimp buy Canon flashes they work the best with Canon camera’s” – By J. THOMAS
Nice, works very well
“I like the fact that it works as an additional wireless bounce flash to illuminate the background of indoor pictures. It is well worth the investment in my opinion. I have so far used it instead of the built in and in conjunction with the built in (Wireless) flash with nice results. I use it with a Canon EOS rebel T3i.” – By J. Hanechak
Smal but mighty
“This flashlight works extremely well, is perfectly synchronized with the shutters of my two Canon cameras, and provides an even distribution of needed light. Its small size is deceiving, as it operated flawlessly recently. I am very satisfied with it.” – By Henri G. Suyderhoud
Canon Speedlite 270EX II
“This is a light , convenient and effective flash. It overcome lighting conditions that were slightly tinted and produce clear and true colors of the objects being photographed. The bounced feature allowed me to take pictures of pictures in my home that are in frames covered with glass as if no glass was present.” – By Otto J. Gillings
“The G12 camera is a fantastic camera. Really good with my photography. I was stunned. After a little while, the flash (internal flash) got slow and it was harder to get work done. I bought this flash…..it’s like lightning. In fact it’s the faster flash I’ve ever used. This flash is amazing and I suggest anyone with a G12 to get it. ” – By iAmbraBabi
Canons smallest flash for EOS cameras
“I use it on my EOS 5D digital camera. It recycles fast, and keeps up with my camera while chasing little ones around for a quick picture. It’s the smallest and lightest Canon flash, which is what I wanted, with features I’ll probably never use. The head pulls out for normal lens focal lengths, and tilts.” – By Russell A. Sleyster
270EX II makes a great wireless slave for Canon T3i
“This is a great little speedlite and does a fantastic job as the wireless slave flash for the Canon T3i which was the main purpose I purchased it. The 270X II also makes a great flash attached on the camera to replace the built in flash. The tilt features are great.” – By R. Garrison
