Custom WB doesn’t seem to work. I’m following the instructions – set WB to custom, fill the screen with white (I’m using a white card), push the DISP button, tone of screen changes, but my pictures have an orange hue.

I am harry, I have to buy good camera so after see all camera i decide two modal one is Panasonic fz40 & second is Canon PowerShot SX30 IS but i am very confuse between two modal so someone please give me advice which one is better camera.

Canon sx 30 is an excellent camera for those who want to learn photography. 35 x zoom really helps u to capture lots of subjects and even if you zoom the image clarity doesnt get affected. 720 hd video is really awesome.. those who want to get started go for this.. u can get dslr or slr after going through this model thoroughly and snapping pictures after learning all the features in this camera

Please suggest me a camera which has excellent image quality and which can shoot in low light.
It should have a zoom of at least 24x and 10 Mp.

Hello CR,

The vivid color is well hidden in the scene mode, look for an icone that looks like a bird’s heads (a bit like the froot loops bird).

Presently, I had order this camera (Canon SX30IS). For me, I had search a lot of images and videos from this camera: the result is fine! Amazing that it can capture the moon picture that why I want to buy.
