The camera also comes with a powerful 20x Optical Zoom, Optical Image Stabilization and 25mm Wide-Angle lens. Additionally, the camera offers a DIGIC 5 Image Processor for rich, clear low-light performance, 1080p Full HD video recording, a Smart Auto mode, a built-in GPS module, and a 3” PureColor II G LCD screen. The Canon PowerShot SX260 HS will be available in March with price of £329.00/€379.00/$349.99.
The camera offers a 25mm Wide-Angle lens that delivers up to 20x Optical Zoom combined with 4-stop optical Image Stabilizer (IS) and a DIGIC 5 Image Processor to produce a more accurate and detailed digital zoom. The new Intelligent IS technology allows users capture crisp, detailed images and smooth footage in a range of shooting conditions. While the the HS System that combined with a DIGIC 5 image processor and the 12.1 Megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS sensor is able to ensure amazing low-noise images in all shooting situations even on low light situations.
The Canon PowerShot SX260 HS allows users to record 1080p Full HD video with stereo sound that can be watch on HDTV or download to PC and share with family and friends. There is a Smart Auto mode which detects up to 58 different scenes to get the best result in photo shooting or video recording.
