Canon PowerShot SX150 IS Features

The Canon PowerShot SX150 IS has a 14.1 Megapixel images sensor to produce superb images with fine detail and brilliant color. The sensor delivers high resolution which ensures superb image quality for cropping or making very large prints. In addition, the camera comes with a DIGIC 4 Image Processor to achieves a new level of picture quality and faster processing. There is a 12x Optical Zoom with 28mm Wide-Angle Lens to provide an outstanding optical performance and versatility. The lens lets you capture subjects from a far distance, while the 28mm wide-angle makes it easy to shoot sweeping landscapes, large groups of people and tall buildings.

The camera is equipped with an Optical Image Stabilizer that uses lens-shift technology to reduce the camera shake, so your images will free from blurring background. It provides excellent image quality in many difficult conditions such as outdoors at dusk, inside without a flash, and even at the telephoto end of the zoom range without a tripod even in low light conditions. The Image Stabilizer allows you get sharper and clearer images in whatever shooting situations.

720p HD Video Recording

The camera also allows you to record 720p HD Video at 30fps with clear stereo sound. The videos can be saved in H.264 format and also easy to display and share with family and friends. There is a Movie Button, Wind Filter and Optical Zoom to supports movie recording so easier. The Wind Filter is effectively reduces wind noise that can muffle or distort the sound, while the Optical Zoom lets you use the full 12x range when you’re shooting a video without sacrificing HD video resolution.

3.0-inch LCD screen

Canon PowerShot SX150 IS has a 3.0-inch LCD screen which offers high resolution of 230,000 dots to provide you excellent images, whether you’re shooting, reviewing or showing off your images. With high resolution, the LCD screen delivers a crisp, clear picture to make shooting, playback and using the camera’s menu functions more easy than ever. It also offers a Night Display features for easy viewing in low light.
