Canon PowerShot N Reviews

T3 reviews the Canon PowerShot N and writes;
“The PowerShot N sports a 12.1MP 2.3-inch CMOS sensor along with a DIGIC 5 processor and picture looked reasonable enough on the relatively small screen, especially considering the dim lighting on the show floor.”
rating: N/A

Techradar reviews the Canon PowerShot N and writes;
“It isn’t intended to take the place of a DSLR or even a phone, but to complement them as a ‘take-everywhere’ type camera. And features such as the back-illuminated 1/2.3-inch sensor, tilting touchscreen and the ring shutter release should mean that it helps you get better shots than you’d normally get on your phone.”
rating: N/A

Whatdigitalcamera reviews the Canon PowerShot N and writes;
“The Canon Powershot N makes sharing easy with the incorporation of one-touch wi-fi connectivity that lets users post images online direct from the camera when in a wi-fi hotspot, or transferred instantly to a smartphone or tablet using the dedicated app. With the app, GPS data can also be added to the images from the phone.”
rating: N/A

Photographyblog reviews the Canon PowerShot N and writes;
“Image quality is good, with the employment of a modest 12 megapixel back-illuminated sensor helping the PowerShot N to perform well in low light, something that most smartphones can’t even attempt, with a usable ISO range of 100-800 and even the higher settings proving adequate for web use and smaller prints.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

Expertreviews reviews the Canon PowerShot N and writes;
“We’re always up for a quirky design, and while the PowerShot N isn’t as radical as it might appear, the articulated screen is extremely useful. Image quality is excellent, but most of the differences to the Ixus 255 HS don’t lie in its favour.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

PCMAG reviews the Canon PowerShot N and writes;
“The Creative Shot mode can be a lot of fun if you are a fan of the filtered image look, and Wi-Fi makes it easy to share your images with friends and family.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

CNET reviews the Canon PowerShot N and writes;
“The Canon PowerShot N acts as a nice complement to a smartphone camera. You get some optical zoom with excellent optical image stabilization, very good photo and video quality (certainly better than typical phone camera quality), and built-in Wi-Fi so you can still share your shots almost as easily as you can when you shoot with your phone. And it’s all in a tiny attention-grabbing package.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

Ephotozine reviews the Canon PowerShot N and writes;
“The Canon Powershot N looks good and produces decent images, but it’s just too expensive. You can spend much less and get more zoom and Wi-Fi, such as the Canon IXUS 255 HS. Canon have sacrificed the traditional zoom and shutter release, reduced the flash size considerably and the battery life is low. “
Rating: ★★★½☆
